Reviews
So far, I'm loving this game. Although it's huge and teaches up to 10,000 vocabs, I think I'll learn all it has to offer. In the sequence, I'll first give a review for curious people wondering if they should buy it, and then I'll point some things I think the developer could better shape in this game. First off, this game is a great way to learn vocab. Think of it as a fancy anki, with way more pleasing background and dynamic. You can learn hiragana, katakana and about 2000 kanji with 10000 vocab. It's like a 10k core vocab essentially. It has a progression system with many lessons. I didn't use it for hiragana and katakana, came to the app knowing about 1k prior vocab, so I skipped directly to the vocab and kanji lessons. There are also lessons especifically for themes, like "body parts and clothes; animals etc.", which are not of the main lessons progressions, so it felt like a nice add-on. For me, it has been suiting very well. I'm very pleased at the game and I recommend it to anyone who is tired with kanji. But now comes some problems. First, the lessons' vocab training mode is too extensive. Although the vocab training is labelled as "optional", it's mandatory to acquire knowledge for the level test. I'd suggest breaking it in 3 parts of about 50 cards. The way it is, I need to be pausing the game to get breaks. The tests' length is fine. The way it is currently, I can see it scaring new players, especially if they don't know some vocab in beforehand. Also, I think I'd be nice if the user could change the timer in the tests. I find more pleasing to take some time to think about the words and make associations, and the timer, although not that fast, still makes me need to rush my thinking a bit. Though it, in the other hand, has been helping me to not overthink in cards, which I'd do on anki quite often. Still, it'd be nice if the user could change it just a bit. That's it. If you are wondering whether to buy the game, definitely do it. It's very cheap and I think it's an amazing learning tool. Edit: I previously said the google login wasn't working, and therefore I wouldn't be able to save the game outside my local machine. I was wrong. The saving is made into the steam account, via cloud, not on the machine. Thus, I'd suggest removing the google login option, because it's not necessary to save the progress.
flashcards
Plutôt pas mal pour l'instant, une sorte de Anki ! Flash card similar to Anki
Very usefull
Very helpful to learn Kanji!
Its a high level and complex flash cards with explanations not much more than that. If you go in blind you are going to have a hell of time it dose not easy you in on anything.
