jut is a short idle game that places you in control of a slow creature combing the beach for washed up trash. There's a nice running list of all the trash you've collected or thrown away and you can wear some refuse as hats, which is fun. While I like the general idea, art, and sound design, I am not a fan of the way the game re-spawns waste. It seems as though individual pieces of trash are washed up very slowly on a 5 minute timer, which is detrimental to the game's playability. Call me cynical, but it reads as a way to pad gameplay time, which is a shame. This mechanic practically restricts play to ~10 minute isolated bursts due to the incredibly slow accumulation of trash, which is the only objective in the game. Refuse should be washed up in cycles or at a faster rate after the beach is cleared to encourage longer playtimes. The game isn't great for relaxing given the mechanic that shortens how much can be played in a single sitting. It seems to have gameplay mechanics solely to inflate game time, which limits the fun to be had with the game. I would not generally recommend jut.
Surprisingly powerful for what it is
The conveyance of this game is remarkable. It starts off as a fun game about cleaning up a beach. It's possible that I'm reading too much into it, but the range of emotions I felt as my 20-minute gameplay time advanced was quite interesting. Give this one a shot. Recommended at whatever you're comfortable paying for a 20-minute experience.

Probably the only game where you're an eldritch horror doing community service...
You move so slowly in this game it's painful.
overall alright for in between.
just a little time waster where you pick up trash along the beach. the map isnt very big, so cleaning up goes by very fast. from there you wait for pieces of trash to wash up on shore (you can see how long you have to wait from the "finds" menu). its relaxing, and the rain gives good ambience, but with how slow the character moves it is a bit annoying. I dont think i would pay $3 for this game
This is a very relaxing game were you play as a tall dude on a beach you pick up trash that floats up on the beach and throw it away its very simple yet relaxing ofc theres one bad review of a guy who doesn't understand the complexity of this small simple games
jut more like waiting simulater
Jut is Sokpops answer to an idle game. You play a slow moving creature bent on cleaning up the beach. Your arms stretch quite far. Your goal (and only achievement) is to collect at least one of every type of trash. The items spawn every 5 minutes, and a max of about 15 or 20 can be on the beach at once, so you need to go back regularly to spawn more.
