Just VR Slingshot Target Practice

So the year is 1985 the Doc has invited you round to the house to show you his latest invention. It's a VR device and you put it on and you're transported to a cartoon world where you can actually shoot a sling shot at these targets that look like magic shields that appear out of nowhere. You spend hours playing and think it's the greatest thing you've ever done. So the year is 2017 you've got a Vive and just brought a VR bundle full of indie games and first-time unity projects. You load up slingshot target practice and you spend 3 minutes of repetitive shooting of the same boring target that appears and sometimes moves. You spend 3 minutes shooting the targets then get bored, you spend the next 3 minutes shooting the slingshot with crap physics into the air above you trying to get one to come down on top of you. You fail so then exit game and uninstall and put it in the ♥♥♥♥ VR games I will never load again category.

It's what it says on the box. Physics are good, feels and acts like a slingshot. I knocked quite a few targets out of the sky but unless you REALLY enjoy plunking things with a slingshot it gets boring. It feels like the core part of a good game... just the game part is missing.

This VR game is awesome and everything, however I have just one problem with it. THERE'S NO WAY TO END THE GAME. Now that usually wouldn't be a big issue, but I personally had PTSD issues with the story of Sword Art Online shouting in the back of my skull "YOU'RE GOING TO DIE IN THIS GAME BECAUSE YOUR BODY IS STUCK HERE NOW." Understand, the game is very fun. Just don't think about that little detail.

Loved the revealed "second level" experience. I was oblivious to its existence, having a relaxing time. It's legitimately thrilling once you shoot the bird. As one fellow reviewer mentioned, it's also a solid shoulder workout!
