We heard you loved Boss Fights, so we cut everything else! Enjoy an RPG game without any of that boring grind! That's definitely why we did it, no other nefarious reasons...
Revenue comes from in-game items and microtransactions, which our price-based model doesn't estimate. The player count below is how many people own it, not what they spent.
About

What is Just the Boss Fights?
Just the Boss Fights is a classic 2D platformer RPG with a twist: the game skips all the story, dialogue, exploration, and grind, leaving only the bosses themselves! Unfortunately, our hero wasn't quite prepared for this shift into a boss rush, and finds himself confused at every turn.
Join the Hero as he pieces together what's happened to his world. Why are there gaps in his memory? How does everyone seem to know him? And, most importantly, who keeps changing his gear while he's not looking?
Features:
Experience 4 unique and engaging boss fights!
Adapt to an ever-changing moveset to overcome each battle!
Find clues to what happened in this world and what's causing the glitches!
After you win, up the difficulty with Challenge Mode!
Classic pixel art style!
Supports both Keyboard/Mouse and Controller!
Free to play with no in-game purchases, what's stopping you from taking on the challenge?

I Highly recommend sound design and art is beautiful and the fights themselves are fun and a good difficulty for me the controls are a little clunky but no where near enough to ruin the experience or even cause a death
The developers of this game are probably super talented and awesome.

Steam is drowning in thousands of lazy, low-effort 2D platformers, and "Just the Boss Fights" is yet another one. I'm not kidding, there's over 17,000 platformers on Steam, almost all of them are garbage, amateur kitbashes. This is not one of the good ones. This platformer seems to have specifically aimed to be worse than most platformers... by design, almost all of the platformer mechanics and level negotiation has been removed completely, in exchange it's just a bunch of single screen "boss fights" of deplorably low quality. So this is a platformer, but worse! This is a tired, outdated experience from a tired, outdated and obsolete game genre. Just a couple of platformers out of literally thousands have any appeal for gamers lately (Super Meat Boy, Hollow Knight etc). This "me too" Steam Direct platformer in a crowded genre offers nothing new. It's "free", but free doesn't mean good. This features really godawful pixelcrap "art" instead of real graphics. It's hard to say if this was because the developer didn't have the skill to do the job of creating 3D visuals, or couldn't afford to hire someone who does, but it also doesn't matter. What matters is that this looks much worse than most other games because of that decision, and that's a major deterrent to gamers. Games like Terraria and Stardew Valley succeeded despite the bad graphics, not because of them. Now on to pricing and value for gamers. This is "free" enough (not every "free" game in the "free" section is truly free, there's usually some hidden price tag), at least you won't be expected to spend any more money after you download this, but just because something is free doesn't mean it's good, and the cost of a game is more than just financial, your time is valuable too. You can always judge a game by how popular it is with the general public. Steam has over 130 million unique gamers, and over 40 million unique logons every day from dedicated PC gamers. But this only ever had a peak player count of a dozen or so people... that's very poor public reception. Gamers rejected this, most likely due to the reasons I supply in this review. Bearing in mind that free games don't add +1 to your game collector count, should you bother adding this to your library and downloading it? What's the verdict? Not this time. This isn't worth downloading. While this won't cost you any money, you get what you pay for, and sometimes, even when the game is free, it's still not enough.
Just amazing.
I really enjoyed the game (I Played it in early access) and enjoyed it a lot but I thought there were some issues with the game play that were mostly just minor issues but I would want to see changed in the official release. -Plenty of my inputs didn't do anything, which led to me dying because of this, primarily with the jump and the Lmb action -I felt like I ended up far off screen a lot of the time playing against the dragon which made it hard to respond to any mistake I made platforming and often led to the camera just breaking and not moving with me when I was flung back to the tail. Overall I really liked and would recommend the game, I thought the game play loop was very engaging and fun.
Amazing game, movement feels solid, love the art style. Also one of the developers is REALLY hot.
