Just Survival - The Zombie Awakening

ok so as of 7/1/2023 and yes i know its early access. just pointing out some fixers here. gun mechanics suck, got stuck under the map. no clue where to start or get missions. was walking around killing zombies which by the way also kinda suck right now. they look dumb, the movement and animations are dumb. all male female and giant zombies all make the same noise. the aggro distance is nuts, anyway it suddenly teleports me to a red car. got in drove it around a bit to test it out. hitting zombies just stops the car instantly and it got stuck or glitched or something into the road and now wont move. still no clue where to go or what to do for missions. i dont mind the melee, im no pro but maybe someone else could give some ideas on how to make it better. movement just feels REALLY heavy, the sniper when walking covers almost the entire view in front of you. i would fix that so it points down at the ground while walking. graphics are ok for a starter but everything REALLY just shows that you just wanted to get the game running and push it out the door. ran across an enemy npc that shoots at you, killed him and couldnt loot the gun he had. movement animations idek how to describe them. it just feels wrong. maybe someone else could explain that better as well. Also with the guns they do no damage at range. like none. ive tried so many times making sure im hitting on target by watching the bullet trail go straight through the zombies. please please fix that. also the zoom for sights and scopes is off. like i feel like i can see farther without aiming than i can while aiming. now to the main menu and controls they suck too honestly. tried to set inventory as tab and change camera view to I (swap them) and cant do itt. reset tab button doesnt work in the controls portion of the settings, character and weapon options/variety is slim to none. you get one of each gun and thats it. ammo is a bit too easy to find.makes it boring very ffast considering you had to be almost point blank for ANY of the guns to do any damage. getting to the crafting menu is a bit odd and time consuming especially since theres no guide on how to do all that. as far as looting there needs to be a way to loot quickly and efficiently like shift and click the item and have all of that item go to your inventory. speaking of items theres a bug that duplicates items in your inventory when moving things around. also maybe in the future make a way to rotate items in the inventory and add more bags and stuff. like just stuff in general. make it so we can interact with everything in the environment would be nice so we can check out some cars to find loot and stuff like that. gives it a real survival feel to it. also zombies are 1 shot to the head. if you cant do that at least fix the damage/zombie health ratio so its more doable. i say this because i used 120 9mm rounds with a pistol and got mostly headshots and only killed 2 zombies with it. went back to melee because of that. guns seem more or less useless with the current state of things. if i think of anything else ill add it on here but again i understand its a new game its early access. just giving an honest assessment on the current state of the game so that you as a potential customer know what to expect and you as the developers know and hopefully understand these points so you have something to work towards in making the game better. Game has potential so im hoping to see bug fixes and improvements in the future. side note. ive seen SOOOO many games with HUGE potential fall apart because nobody cared enough to redo graphics or add anything or fix a bug or make any attempt to keep the game interesting. Infestation new Z is a good example of that. needs a new graphics engine and some updates and bug fixes and it would be an awesome game. Anyway again look forward to seeing where this game goes. its no gem right now but some thought planning and work could really make this game enjoyable for lots of people and ill update my review as things change and move along :)

This game has amazing potential being one of the best zombie mmos available! I'm excited to be part of the Journey with the development of this game. Seeing the graphics & gameplay so far I'm enjoying this very much. I'm looking forward to the updates!

Okay pack your bags for this ride. It's a trainwreck you don't want to miss. The entire "game" is just a bunch of incoherent assets tossed together in the Unreal engine. A couple of post-apocalyptic city packs for the *city* (which is just a few buildings slapped together), random Redwood trees scattered around with no real logic, and various zombies that spawn and drunkenly stagger towards you. Comparing it to the video and screenshots, it's a scam. There are no drivable cars, despite having control bindings for it. There are no bandits or mercenaries that shoot at you. There are no wolves that attack you. No roaring campfire to cook food on. What there is won't redeem itself. There are key bindings that make absolutely no sense. Invisible walls surround the main city to keep you from getting anywhere. Mismatched assets that don't go together. Rain, and sometimes snow, that kills your framerate. You get points and levels when killing zombies, but it doesn't appear to actually do anything and you can't spend them on skills or anything like that. It's a horrible slavjank mess that is like the Plan 9 From Outer Space of zombie games. No I won't be refunding it because it's just too good to laugh at. Keep my $5 devs, I had a good time but don't recommend anyone the same pain.

For a game so early in development it was pretty advanced and filled with interesting features. Certain things need improvement but I'm sure that will be polished out with time and as development goes on. Encountered no major issues except some minor U.I things which are easily fixable. Definitely recommend!

In my head, in my head Zombie, zombie, zombie-ie-ie! There's zombies, multiplayer, MMO & survival, what more do you need? Go and kill zombies!

2023년 9월 14일 21500원짜리 15퍼 할인받아 18,270 원에 구매함.. 게임 전체적인 시스템 최적화, 그래픽최적화가 전혀 안되어있는상태이다. 메인메뉴에서도 10프레임나오고 게임안에서는 아예 정지화면인 1프레임이 나온다. 그래픽은 꽤좋아보이는것같지만 프레임이 최악이라서 전혀 게임을 할수가없다. 개발자가 전체적으로 리뉴얼을 한다고 대규모 업데이트를 밝혔지만 먹튀가 될지 모르는일이다.
