About
Just Pool was made with the intent to be a scaled-down version of traditional pool/billiards games. This means that many of the common features available in those games are NOT available in Just Pool and some might get added in the future, for example:
Special shots (curved, "English", "Swerve", Jump shots etc.);
Other game modes like 9-ball or Snooker;
Career mode;
Global matchmaking.
In short, this game is for those that enjoy a casual, more laid-back style game of pool. Open the game, start a match, shoot some balls, maybe invite a friend and enjoy a simple match.
Also, the user experience was designed to avoid the most common pitfalls of other games in this genre: paywalls, confusing UI, pay-to-win, micro-transactions or over-complicated game mechanics.
Click-and-drag the mouse cursor to shoot the cue-ball;
Try to score all the balls on either one of the 6 the holes;
Win by scoring all balls in your group;
Single-player and Multi-player.
Simulated pool table/ball physics;
Cartoon-ish models and textures;
Steam integration (friends list & invites);
Cell-shading.
This game was made by myself as a solo indie developer. This is my first commercial game and I hope you enjoy it. Feedback and suggestions are always welcome :)

Reviews
If you too are an aging millennial, you'll pine for the "simple days" on the internet where it was chatrooms, forums, and Yahoo flash games taking up all our precious internet time before mom picked up the landline phone to call her friend Nancy and gossip about the latest neighborhood scandal, knocking us off AOL. Just Pool is a trip down memory lane. Is it the most innovative game ever created? No. But it shouldn't be. It's exactly what I wanted, something to do while I hang out with my friends and talk about stupid stuff. Like I did when I was 12 and thought being 16 made you mature. You should play it because it's exactly what's advertised and doesn't oversell the product. How often does that ever happen in games these days? No obnoxious music blaring at 100%, no ridiculous menus to navigate, no extra steps to set up the game. Press play and GO. Blown away at how it hit the mark dead center. My personal experience so far: I launched the game and immediately ran into a bug that stopped me from playing. I made a post about it and the dev immediately reached out offering ways to potentially fix the issue. After giving some more clarity and detail they dropped a patch that fixed my issue immediately. I'm happily poking balls into holes with a stick now! Holy carp that's good customer service!
