Very fun, don't even need friends to make it enjoyable, the campaign is also cool
Recently installed it eventhough I have owned it for ages from a humble bundle. How is this game still kind of broken after all these years? The controls layout is beyond bizarre. No obvious way to skip scenes. Subtitles don't work, which usually isn't an issue, but if you have more than stereo speakers, the dialog isn't audible and I have to put my 5.1 surround to stereo mode to hear anyone's dialog even outside of cutscenes. The FOV while in a car is also a weird choice. I played for less than 30 minutes after getting everything working and the controls reset to something usable. Also had random game pauses. The mouse is useless in menus. All that setup just ruined the game for me. I just couldn't find the fun in it. Get #3 if you haven't played any one them. Do not get this one.

WHY????? WHY IT RUNS SO BAD??? graphic is bad and it's sooooooo lagy for 49EU it's not worth it but i have a suggestion: 1. delete Just cause 4 2. install Just cause 3 (JC3 is so much better (in every aspects))
It's a really good game to play especially if you grab it on sale. I kind of understand the hate around the changed style of progression from liberating camps to regions by doing missions but this alone imo shouldn't stop you from having fun. JC4 is exactly what JC3 is at it's main core - a sandbox where you are encouraged to blow ♥♥♥♥ up, move around like Spider-man and unlock new toys to play around with. The story is the same as before, you're Rico, bad guy trying to exploit people, liberate people, eliminate bad guy. Pretty easy to follow. The graphics are improved, and it felt like the challenges this time around are more than before albeit different style and more focused on stunts and imagination than chasing some specific race outcome. The only thing I missed is the challenge for highscore of blowing camps. The DLC's are okay-ish - they're not tied to the main game at all and feel like additional challenges for the sake of more content. TLDR: I was looking forward to playing JC4 each day, so that should tell you enough
Як можна було так просрати круту формулу 3 частини, я не розумію, при тому деякі мінуси 3 виправили
You buy the full game—DLC and all—only for it to crash without even launching properly. It reminds me of *COD Vanguard* on Steam; it’s the exact same issue. What a disgrace, Square Enix and Avalanche Studios. You disgust me; I hope you get what’s coming to you! This will likely be the last *Just Cause* game I ever buy. Part 2 was by far the best; Part 3 was absolute crap, but Part 4 takes the cake. You’d think people would learn from their mistakes, but there are still plenty of mindless apes buying this stuff, so nothing will ever change—if you buy and play it, you’re part of the problem!
this game straight up doesn't ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ work on modern hardware, do NOT waste your money or time, it won't start up and even if you the maintenance to get the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ game loaded up, have fun trying to play when every 5 seconds it freezes for like 2 seconds. every "person" who worked on this game should be compressed into a single basket ball and then slam dunked into a net that leads directly to hell itself.
I don't honestly care what anyone else says, I love this game and have recently been playing it loads trying to finish it and all of it's questionable dlc. The game is super fun and added lots of new features like the weather mechanics, unique guns that are sick, updated supply drops, cool new vehicles, new grapple features and many more that are epic and awesome. Don't listen to the people that can't appreciate a solid game for what it is. I loved just cause 3 and the sequel game is just as based. You just do anything in these games. Just cause you can.
I already knew JC4 was a downgrade from the last but I did not expect to have it freeze and/or crash on me for any type of movement. Game will freeze if I shoot an enemy, if there's an explosion, if I even turn the camera, or if I even dare to open the map. Don't waste your money on this.
