It could be a wonderful game, in case developers allowed us to play it. Right now the only thing you can do — wait. You wait for workers to restore energy, for structers to finish construction, for trees to produce fruits, for huts to make tools, for monkeys to consume food and water, etc. This isnt even a game, but a waiting simulator. Get rid of waiting system already! Its 2018, not 2008! The concept of waiting for 2-20 mins between actions is fine on mobiles, so you can play game from time to time while walking or riding. But on PC, we sit down and want to play non-stop, to do something, to get fun now. Jungle Guardians cant provide any of these. It has nice grapchics, deep gameplay, varietty, but sadly, its current state is unplayable. And no, just reducing timers wount help — they have to be deleted completly. There are already many other games without any annoying timers. Some of them are ports, others are PC-only projects, like Equilinox. ........... Updated ........... Alright, since developer asking for it... First thing first, ill name a perfect games (in my oppinion) which show how timers should work — "Promised Land" (its buy once to play) and free to play "Pasteraki". While you do have to wait a bit for something to happen (10-15 seconds), you still can play non stop and get fun. There is always a varietty of actions you can do, so player dont have to alt-tab and just wait, but instead, while something is getting produced you gather / craft / fight. I agree, waiting and resource production is basic mechanic for all strategies. And you know what happened to this genre today? Its nearly dead. People dont want to build same bases over and over and wait for resources to stack. Now, ill point you to more intense and large game — PrimeWorld: Defenders 2. It has quite large timers for battles to recharge ( 4 / 12 / 24 hours ) but you can reduce those to 0 by watching video add. More over, each fight takes a good chunk of time (about 5-15 mins) to plan and finish, so by the time you do that, some other things will pop up, like, enemy captured your mine and you have to recapture it (another fight). In the end one playing session takes about 2 hours of your time and its full of joy and action. In Jungle Guardians i got bored pretty fast and had literally got nothing to do but wait. I think i reached that "waiting wall" in about an hour or so. And lastly, another good example is well known Factorio. While it takes time to gather resources and build something / research, you constantly developing base, improving your machines and moving around. No time for alt-tab, cus you have things to do. Sure it has nothing to do with "free to play", but hey, you are on PC platform right now and we have specific requirements here. You probably aint satisfied by my examples, so here are more games quite similar to yours with "free to play" and pretty "fresh" (non old). 1) Harvest Seasons (Steam): you do quest non stop, you build, you gather. There is still a waiting factor, but mostly you wait while sleeping and active play is still better. 2) Orks Must Die Unchained (Steam). I know this is large game, yet its free and you can play non stop (unfrtunatelly, its abandoned by devs and died due to losing player base). The only things you wait for are daily quest and weekly challanges. 3) Fallout Shelter (Steam). Large amount of joy and action. You build, you expand, you craft. You waiting only during sleep for your people to make kids, so tomorrow you will have even more workers to do more stuff at once. 4) Shop Heroes (Steam). Never ending game where you always have things to produce, sell or improve. It literally can kill all your time and will force to stop playing any other game. While weapons and armor do take 10-60 secs to make, you still are very active. Now regarding questions... "Can you tell us which timers we should get rid off exactly" Pretty much all of them should be either removed, or reduced to 10-15 seconds. Trees are fine as they are tho. But heroes vitality regen, constructing buildings, rate of food / water consumption — its way too long and takes away all the action from the game. Also tools production with its 3+ minutes is a big NO. You need them all the time in large numbers. 20 / 25 / 30 seconds intead of 3/6/9 minutes — thats what i am talking about. I can also suggest that manual clicking could speed up construction / feeding (etc) by deducting -1 second per click. So if someone wants to play a bit more active right now — he should be able to. Our game was rather designed in a way you have this game opened all the time while you are doing something, surfing n the web etc, and you can quickly do ALT-TAB and come back to the game from time to time. This is how this genre works This is how this genre worked 10 years ago. Time changes, as well as people. And once again — this is PC area, not mobile. Its different. We dont like when arcade game price is $30+ and we hate when it is also ftp game which requires $1000+. Can you describe what was unfun or which actions in the game where boring? The ammount of time it takes to reach a wall of waiting is rather short. Most games are not that harsh and allow about 6-10 hours of active playing before saying "No, stop, go make a break!". After 10 minutes i already got nothing to do, but to bash some $ to speed up things. At this moment game still havent hooked me up enough to make me stay and wait for some other features to show up. That starter so-called "energy boost" is very improtant for any game. .............. Update 2 ............. So i decided to give it another go. Previously i played 30 minutes, now continued and hit another wall at minute 77. It was experience gap. For some reasons, there is little to no ways to progress fast. The only thing you can do is farm trees and get +1 exp. Another way is to release animals, but you have to make loads of food bags (takes 5 minutes for each + some animals require few at once). Crawling to lvl 11 was very long road cus it needs 170 exp. Also one of my quest stuck cus it wanted me to place baby capuchin monkey into a playing ground... Gues what — the only baby run away cus i stoped playing at minute 30 last time. Game punishes you for doing things when you should not do them (or vice versa). You skiped a day? Fine, all your daily rewards reset unless you pay real cash. Hey, wait, did you invited 200 friends already? No? Well no rewards for you, pal! Two hundreds, guys, are you serious? Noone has 200 friends!!! I am 30 years old and havent spoken to 200 different people in my entire real life! Back to waiting timers. They are annoying, god, they are sooo annoying... Sure, as developer mentioned, there are free speed ups. And you will use them all in 5 mins, ending in front of the same wall as before, cus you need hundreds of basic resources and tools. Speeding up 10 of them is nice, but that leads nowhere. You still wait 20 mins for scissors and 30 mins for hero to regain health and after used scissors twice — you must heal and produce again. Oh, also, while your hero regenerates your building CANT produce tools or craft things. And another problem popped up, which i forgot to mention previously. Limited inventory! You know, a fly has tiny stomach? Well, inventory here is even smaller. I am forced to sell my items for 1 coin in order to make some space. First you farm them for 15 minutes, then you throw them into a trash can. Great. I really loved 2000-2007 years with infinite inventorys in games. Now i have to wait again for lvl 12 to accumulate 180 exp. I am already fed by banana farming / selling and energy production to get +1 exp. My yard is spammed with 10 wild monkeys, but i have no space for them nor food to release. I dont want to add 200 strangers to my friend list in order to get extra space for creatures to live. This time i closed game at 2 hours mark, being angry and mentally exhausted.

Нажал "Играть“ - не работает. Перезагрузил компьютер - не работает. Постучал по монитору - не работает. Видимо, проблема глобальнее, чем я думал.
super nice free to play pc game! I realy like it! you can play it!
Mobile-basebuilding-clicker style game with timers on everything as soon as you hit level 5. A wasted great idea on monetary greed to proceed further in the game.
Enjoyable little game. Let's not forget it is entirely free to play. Requires a little thought in planning your base in order to maximise efficiency. If you have a decent base going there is enough to do to keep yourself busy almost constantly. In the beginning the tasks are fast and of course there are a lot of speed boosts from completing quests, which ensures the slower tasks can be completed quickly. And once you reach about level ~20, there is almost enough to constantly keep doing something. The more friends you make in game (there is a function which helps with this) the easier the game is to play as well. One of the biggest time sinks is waiting for your heroes (so far I have 3, but I assume you get up to 6) to regenerate after tasks . If you have friends playing the game they can help water your plantations, which considerably speeds up the game since heroes don't have to waste effort doing this. I've looked at a lot of other bases and I see a lot of people don't seem to lay out their bases for better efficiency eg they cut down every single plant in site, not placing multiple buildings adjacent to boosting structures etc. This will slow your game down and could create the misconception that this is just a waiting game.
I believe this might be an abandoned game, as I've gotten no response from sending an email. Monkeys that are tracked don't feed themselves even when there is food available. There are quests that can't be completed because the animals never appear behind trees. Still can't get another reptile enclosure but they keep giving me reptiles and asking me to put them in enclosures to finish quests. Really just seems like a money grab because if I want to pay real money I can complete all of those items. Frustrating and slow unless you want to pay.
It was just announced, that the game is shut down in 2 days. So don't start it or even worse, spend ingame REALMONEY on it!!!!
