5/10 A science/COVID-themed VN with some minigames. Good: - it does have educational value. E.g. if you don't know some details about the Spanish flu (though you probably do, since it was discussed a lot in 2020 everywhere) here is your chance to run through a few multiple-choice tests - where you can correct your replies until you get all the green checkmarks (correct answers). Though you could also just look them up on Wikipedia - the art style is cute. It's rather simple but still nice - free - I like to see games about science in general. I know they are usually not fun but at least such attempts are laudable So-so: - the minigames are rather simple. E.g. press left-right keys with required speed. Or make a light bulb jump through gaps in horizontal lines. I think the game would benefit from some logic minigames. Since it supposedly targets young people who are smart enough to do science. And those typically like logic-based puzzles - English is shaky at places. A native speaker should go through the texts Bad: - I guess it targets young people for whom phones and "number of followers" are big things. In any case, I really hated how the game asks you to "report" "misinformation" and "toxicity" (btw the English translation is somewhat shaky so I couldn't even properly understand some of the messages on the phone). This game reinforces the dangerous trend we see nowadays when we teach young people to "report" stuff Overall, it's an interesting attempt to bring the topic of science closer to younger people. It's a mixed bag, with cute art but overly simplistic minigames. Plus a political agenda which would be best just kept out.
