Joyspring seems like it is trying to be Celeste but is actually (in my opinion) harder. If you are using controller, the D-pad doesn't work so you have to be precise with the joystick which wasn't the case with Celeste and i may have enjoyed this game but i eventually got stuck. 5/10

Good game, really bring out the masochist in me. Also, I just literally can't beat level 26 cuz it lags my game so hard the input delay is like 2 seconds, so I just don't have the fine-tuning abilities to beat it.
Very fun and short platformer, I beat it in a little over an hour. The wall jump definitely is the worst part responsively in the game, but you just need to make sure you press jump before the directional keys and you will get the hang of it. All rooms are quite readable which I found impressive for such a convoluted mechanic in terms of visibility. If you enjoyed Celeste you will like the first part of this game, if you enjoyed Farewell, you will enjoy the second part. Give it a try!
If you're on Mac, you'll likely run into "Press Unassigned and Unassigned to walljump" on around the 5th level of the game that dngrnoodl describes, which essentially renders it unplayable. Seems like people on other platforms are maybe not running into this. It's a pity since the game is really beginner friendly and cute! Hope that this is eventually fixed. This is one of my first non-mobile games on Steam. Recommended with the Mac caveat above.
