Guide the toast meanwhile with the cat, as toast jumps like projectiles. Hold down and power on, and the toast will jump farther!
When the two combine, they can trigger the paradox, taking the cat to unreachable places!
CATO: Buttered Cat revolves around the two main characters, "Cat" and "Buttered Toast." You'll need to use the interactions between them to solve various puzzles at each game level. The full game is featuring over 140 main levels and more than 60 side levels. There are also hidden rooms, challenging boss battles, and fun mini-games. The full version will include an outfit system, with 70+ Cat and Toast skins waiting for you to collect!
CATO: Buttered Cat is an adorable puzzle platformer, inspired by the buttered-cat paradox meme: Cats always land on their feet, and toast always lands buttered side down. By strapping a piece of buttered toast to a cat's back, you create a paradox that results in an infinitely spinning, floating butter-cat perpetual motion machine!
CATO will take you to a brain-teasing adventure, exploring five different worlds, each filled with unique contraptions.
Including toaster(Toast: NO!!)to buttered trampolines and speed-boasting space pipes(Cat: Meow!!). Along the way, the two will also encounter some mysterious companions to help them with puzzles.
The game is about puzzles, with a little action elements. You don't need to perform difficult platforming for most of the time; just focus on solving the puzzles. However, some pesky enemies will be standing in your way during the adventure. Your abilities will help you defeat them.
As you progress through the adventure, you'll also unlock various mini-games. Once collected, these can be installed on the gaming console in your little hideout, allowing you to play them anytime.
In the world of CATO: Buttered Cat, there are many hidden rooms that can only be accessed through secret passages. Here, you can find Easter eggs from other worlds and mysterious drop items.
Take them back to your cozy little hideout, put on your favourite outfit, and set off again!
What exactly is the cat and toast searching for? Pieces of these stories are scattered along the adventure, waiting for you to explore.
Team Woll is made up of leading programmer Blasin and leading artist Frank, who met during the BOOOM Gamejam 2022 hosted by GCORES. The positive feedback from the Gamejam project, CATO: Buttered Cat, made us officially establish our studio.

고양이와 버터 빵(?)이 고장난 우유 기계를 고칠(?) 부품 찾아 떠나는 퍼즐형 어드벤쳐 게임입니다. 난이도는 조금만 생각하면 될 정도로 단순하고 크게 어렵지 않습니다..라고 생각했지만 3챕터 부터 난이도가 어려워 개인적으로 3 스테이지와 5 스테이지가 가장 어려웠습니다..(여기 스테이지에서 깨는데 가장 오래 걸린 듯..) 하면서 막히는 부분 있어도 크게 실망할 필요 없어요 "힌트 보기"를 통해 어떻게 해야할지 그림으로 보여주니까요! 그대로 하시면 깰 수 있습니다! 막혔다면 다시 하기도 가능! 간혹 가다 빵과 고양이가 대화하는 장면도 나오지만 고양이는 알아들었는지 야옹~ 하는 모습도 귀여웠어요 그 외에도 히든 스테이지가 있고 히든 스테이지를 통해 고양이 스킨이나 빵 스킨을 얻을 수 있습니다 그 중에 "swappy"가 많은거 같아요 어렵기도 하고 재밌기도 하네요ㅎㅎ 배경 음악도 정말 최고였습니다..특히 3,4 스테이지 배경 음악이 가장 좋았어요 최고! 도전과제는 "타임어택"이나 "한번도 안죽고 올 스테이지 클리어" 등의 악의적인 도전과제도 없어서 진행 하다 보면 거의 달성 가능합니다 다만 "모든 스킨 수집하기"라는 도전과제가 있어서 시간이 걸릴 것으로 보입니다(?) 그 외에도 미니 게임 3종이 있어서 가볍게 즐길 만 합니다ㅎㅎ

[i] Игра, знакомство с которой было не стандартным, а прощание - с лёгкой печалью. [/i] Думаю, многие видели те прикольные анимированные стикеры с котом, он же Кэто. Я не исключение. У меня появился к ней интерес. Так она и попала в список желаемого. [h1] Бутеркот [/h1] Коты. Коты, коты, коты. Котыыы. Я не могу пройти мимо них. Завязка и сюжет у игры простые. Сюжет и мир игры раскрываются постепенно, но второе не ясно до конца. По крайней мере, мне трудно понять по отрывкам о чём говорит друг Кэто - Бутерброд. Механика у игры (кот + бутерброд = полёт) занятная, а сама её идея интересная. Из мира в мир, она разбавляется, становясь разнообразной. Поначалу довольно просто. Но, признаться честно, больше, чем на 30 минут, меня не хватает. Тут же болит голова. Хотя, казалось бы, платформер не сложный. Но ради Кэто, ради секреток и образов на кота, и его говорящего товарища, мне хотелось стараться. А образы тут, правда, разнообразны. Люблю переодевашки. Сколько их конкретно, я сказать не могу. Но каждый скин уникален. Это может быть как просто кот, так и небольшая отсылка на что-то. На Бутерброд... Это ж на сколько нужно быть творчески открытым, чтобы додуматься сделать [spoiler] вантуз [/spoiler] ? И это ещё часть айсберга всех образов. Если прям ооочень интересно что там за образы (а там есть множество интересных идей), то добро пожаловать в руководства игры. Саундтреки у игры, ух, ну просто конфетка. До сих пор в голове держится мелодия первого мира, а музыка из уникального уровня вообще стоит на будильнике. Низкий поклон создателю. Уже к концу игры мне становилось грустно. И дело не в том что разработчики сделали что-то не так. Они стараются над игрой, это видно до сих пор, исходя из обновлений. Проблема в моём прохождении. У меня есть собственный архив, где я снимаю прохождения игр. Несмотря на то что у меня всего 18 часов наиграно тут, на деле они растянуты на целый год. Целый год приятных воспоминаний, поиск секреток, радости от того что мне понятно как решать загадку. И осознание, что вот-вот скоро будет конец, было удручающее. Я советую игру тем, кто любит загадки и кто готов открыться этому жанру, как и я, хоть и не фанат этого. Ну и тем, кто любит котов и не может пробежать мимо них) [spoiler] Если стоять на одном месте, Кэто может сесть и замурлыкать. [/spoiler]

this game is pretty good if you like puzzels with a cat and toast its nice to see of how there are so many skins and i am still not finished my whole game but if your ready for a chanlange try this game !
