Before I played Joyspring, I had a small pp, no friends, no gf, depression, and no life. These things havent changed, but the game is pretty good
Joyspring is one of literally thousands of retro 2D platformers infesting Steam and lowering the average quality of all video games everywhere... and I'm not kidding. Searching for "platformers" on the Steam store page yields over 17,000 results! Is this one of the best of those? Absolutely not. This short and pointless precision platformer lacks, well, everything... you jump around a mildly esoteric (and mostly badly done) set of bland levels, doublejumping, wall jumping, getting mildly annoyed at the poor controls, all so you can get a greater understanding of why the Godot 2D engine has never resulted in a successful game (don't get me wrong, Godot 3D is pretty good, but the 2D engine blows). Platforming is an old, mostly dead genre, and this lacklustre experience, while it doesn't have an upfront cost, isn't saving the genre... it's no surprise this failed to capture any attention from gamers in the era of immersive 3D gaming. This features really godawful pixelcrap "art" instead of real graphics. It's hard to say if this was because the developer didn't have the skill to do the job of creating 3D visuals, or couldn't afford to hire someone who does, but it also doesn't matter. What matters is that this looks much worse than most other games because of that decision, and that's a major deterrent to gamers. Games like Terraria and Stardew Valley succeeded despite the bad graphics, not because of them. This is "free" enough, at least you won't be expected to spend any more money after you download this, but just because something is free doesn't mean it's good. Even though this is "free", it failed to appeal to the 120 million+ gamers on Steam. SteamDB showed the game peaked at just a dozen or so concurrent players, and now there's basically nobody playing it. Even though it's free. This is a dismal public reception, but it's easy to see why gamers rejected it. Bearing in mind that free games don't add +1 to your game collector count, should you bother adding this to your library and downloading it? Not this time. This isn't worth downloading. While this won't cost you any money, you get what you pay for, and sometimes, even when the game is free, it's still not enough.

Sooo, guys, ok you are high schoolers, me too, ok it's a free game, ok. But at least, if you copy a game, copy it well, it's not awful but really really not good. And no you didn't copy celeste, you copied the celeste mod flipside cliffside. Please guys the only thing open source on celeste is the fricking code of the player, it's there https://github.com/NoelFB/Celeste/blob/master/Source/Player/Player.cs and the music are okay, except using a bit of the melody of Zelda's lullaby, and the visuals you did not efforts in doing your thing. I know what i'm talking about check my profile. Do your own game, it'll be better
Joyspring'i aramak için zirveye çıkın. Her mağarayı, mağarayı, yarığı ve uçurumu keşfedin. Rüzgarın şarkısını duy. Hızlanmaya devam edin ve baharı bulun. Ve döndüğünüzde gülümseyerek dönün.

Me enacnta sobretodo por el apartado artístico. Da vibras relajantes.
A pretty good and complicated game, but sadly not my type of game. But still if you ar into this kind of game it really is something good. I can recommend it for platformer friends
