The game runs quite poorly for a game that costs upwards of $50s. The save mechanics of the game are quite poor as I often find myself unable to actually save any of my changes.
The game as of April 2026 no longer allows you to save custom players...not sure why but that is the whole reason I bought the game...such a disappointment...I have supported this company since Rugby Challenge 1 but ever since it was taken over after the death of Jonah Lomu it has not been run properly at all...stay away, too many issues with the game, stick with #2, it is the best version of the game...#4 bans you from having a ton of names, and actually has less option for custom team names than version 3...version 3 is okay but there are some minor issues with it, #4 though, BIG WASTE OF MONEY :(

truly gods gift to mankind, words cannot express how beautiful this game is especially after the remastered version, everything i disliked with the game they fixed with the new update. truly a brilliant job they did with the team and funding they had available. i can never appreciate this game ever more than it deserves. thank you tru blu, glinda, and all the other studios that worked to build the foundation the masterpiece jonah lomu rugby challenge 4 remastered <3
