im glad scott the woz mentioned this game, we need more people in the joe danger fanbase. Id played this years back on my ps3, but finding out when I bought no mans sky that hello games made a jump from funny man on bike explodes to infinite space exploration I had to buy both games even if it meant buying joe danger again
KAMGUSTA's MINI REVIEW As a lot of you, I had a issues with the resolution of the game, the solution is simple: Go find the "JoeDanger.exe" executable, right click on it, go to "Properties", then on tab "Compatibility". In that, select "Change high DPI settings". On the new window, ENABLE "Use this setting to fix scaling problems" and ENABLE "Override high DPI scaling behavior performed by ... APPLICATION". Done! Game is similar to the "Trials" series (side scrolling stunt racing) but this time you are a stuntman executing dangerous jumps, incredible air tricks, running in circles of death, doing wheelies and making a lot of other funny and exaggerated stunts. That's not all, as there are 100 levels, STEAM Workshop (infinite levels) and LOCAL multiplayer. "One last thing", this is the first game of the developers of "No Man's Sky"! Best played with joypad Recommended buy price: 5$ Score: 7/10

we need chinese. 我们需要中文。Tur need.
Joe Danger, developed and published by Hello Games, is an exuberant fusion of racing, platforming, and stunt performance that captures the essence of arcade fun while offering surprising depth beneath its colorful exterior. First released on consoles before making its way to PC via Steam, the game introduces players to the world of Joe Danger—a fearless stuntman determined to reclaim his former glory. The premise is lighthearted, but the execution is remarkably refined, blending tight controls, skill-based challenges, and an infectious sense of joy that harks back to the golden age of high-score chasing games. Rather than presenting a straightforward racing experience, Joe Danger turns every course into a playground where precision, timing, and creativity matter just as much as speed. At its core, the game is built around a series of compact but meticulously designed stages, each offering multiple objectives. Players must guide Joe through loops, ramps, traps, and absurd hazards, collecting stars, spelling out the word “DANGER” by grabbing scattered letters, and performing daredevil stunts to rack up points. What makes the experience shine is how fluidly these elements come together. The controls are instantly responsive and intuitive—accelerate, jump, perform tricks, and land cleanly to build momentum. Yet behind this simple setup lies a deep rhythm-based challenge, where maintaining flow and chaining combos becomes a satisfying dance of reflexes and mastery. It’s a game that rewards replayability; the more you play, the more you notice nuances in timing and technique, and each successful run feels earned rather than luck-driven. The presentation of Joe Danger is a major part of its charm. Hello Games built the world with vibrant, cartoon-inspired visuals that burst with color and personality. Each environment—from dusty desert tracks to chaotic stunt arenas—is filled with exaggerated obstacles and comical details that make the act of crashing almost as fun as landing a perfect run. Joe himself is a caricature of the classic daredevil, complete with a toothy grin and an unflappable spirit, and his animated reactions lend the game a layer of humor that keeps failure lighthearted. The soundtrack matches the energy perfectly with upbeat tunes and rhythmic sound effects that make each jump and flip feel like part of an orchestrated performance. The presentation never takes itself too seriously, but beneath its humor lies an appreciation for the craft of game design—a sense of balance that few arcade-style titles achieve so elegantly. As players progress, the difficulty ramps up steadily, introducing new mechanics and challenges that test both dexterity and strategy. While early levels are forgiving and designed to build confidence, later ones require a near-perfect understanding of each course’s rhythm. The game cleverly encourages players to replay levels, not only to collect all the stars but also to master the flow of each stunt run. This layered approach gives Joe Danger its long-lasting appeal—it’s easy to pick up and enjoy for a few minutes, yet it also invites extended play sessions as you chase perfection. The PC version enhances this replayability through a level editor and Steam Workshop integration, allowing players to create and share their own courses. This feature adds a creative dimension that keeps the community engaged and ensures a steady stream of new challenges beyond the core campaign. Despite its many strengths, Joe Danger isn’t without its minor shortcomings. The game’s structure, while polished, can feel repetitive over long sessions. Its variety comes from track design and secondary objectives rather than drastic mechanical evolution, so players looking for radical shifts in gameplay may find the pacing predictable. The lack of robust online multiplayer also limits the potential for competitive play, something that could have elevated the experience even further. However, these are minor blemishes in an otherwise tightly constructed and joyfully executed game. The emphasis on skill, charm, and player expression ensures that the fun rarely fades entirely, even when repetition sets in. What makes Joe Danger so special is its understanding of pure playfulness. It’s a game that celebrates movement, rhythm, and the satisfaction of improvement without burdening the player with unnecessary complexity. It channels the same spirit that made classic arcade titles addictive but pairs it with modern polish and creativity. Whether you’re chasing high scores, experimenting with custom levels, or simply enjoying the act of pulling off ridiculous stunts, the game offers a constant sense of reward. Hello Games’ craftsmanship shines through in every detail, from the fluid animations to the intuitive feedback loops that make success feel exhilarating. Ultimately, Joe Danger is a love letter to the kind of gaming that’s driven by enthusiasm and imagination. It proves that you don’t need realism or narrative gravitas to create something memorable—just tight mechanics, playful design, and a contagious sense of joy. Beneath its cartoonish surface lies a masterclass in game balance and pacing, where every jump, crash, and victory feels like part of a larger rhythm. It’s the type of game that can make anyone smile, whether you’re a casual player drawn to its charm or a perfectionist chasing that elusive flawless run. Joe Danger’s enduring appeal lies in its simplicity, sincerity, and the sheer delight of motion—a reminder that sometimes the best games are the ones that simply make you feel like flying.
