Jigsaw Puzzle Pro Edition ==================================== Jigsaw Puzzle Pro Edition is a puzzle game with very beautiful pictures and 10 expansion packs, The DLC is great to keep you coming back for more again and again. + The Puzzles all Look pretty cool, The images all look sort of futuristic, One of the most beautiful puzzle games I've seen. + Choosing your own difficulty is good. + I like being able to change the background for your puzzle, Lots of different choices here, it helps you to able to see the pieces better, + I like how puzzle pieces snap to the grid. + I also Do Like that the puzzles are timed. Room for improvements: - Show Best Time for each puzzle, to give you a goal to break next time. - Would be cool if the game had some achievements, - Scrolling works with click and drag, but doesn't work well with the wheel, would be cool if it worked better with the wheel too. - After beating a puzzle maybe a Firework or something to celebrate the players win? - Maybe a Check mark on puzzles you have already solved. - For added Difficulty Rotating pieces could really change the game. - A 1000 Piece Difficulty Overall It is a Good Puzzle Game, And I would recommend it to anyone who likes puzzle games, It has a lot of puzzles with the base game, and a massive selection of 10 expansion packs, A very nice game to kick back over morning coffee and stretch your brain.
I just came back from reviewing another puzzle game of the same developer ("Classic Jigsaw Puzzles") so I'll be copy pasting points that are relevant to this game too. Positives+++ (new points) +Music is relaxing (Same points as in "Classic Jigsaw Puzzles") +I like that there is different setting for the reference image (no reference, small reference, full board size reference). +I like that at the end of a puzzle you can see the time it took to complete it. +I like that the corner piece have a white border making it even easier to see which one is a border piece! +I like that there is a button to show only corner pieces. +I very much like that there is a progress bar on each puzzle size of each puzzle :D +I like the "complete" text under the puzzle size of each image. +I like that pieces don't snap to the board but snap to each other. +UI is nice +There really is a lot of puzzle to do! 8 categories with each 10 puzzles, making it a total of 80 puzzles with 5 difficulty (12, 35, 70, 140, 280)! Observations and suggestions~~~ (new points) ~I think this game has better backgrounds choices but I still think more monocolor no texture background would be great. (Same points as in "Classic Jigsaw Puzzles") ~Mouse wheel to scroll through unplaced pieces is ridiculously slow. This game seems to have been created for touch devices, but is lacking fonctionality for computer users. ~There are some UI things that don't fit the overall theme: redo, continue and close icon when a puzzle is finished. They look like they come from another game instead of the same game. They all have different stroke size and color. ~It would be nice to have an option to disable click and drag in the loose pieces to the right. I want to place the pieces that are there and something I missclick and it drag the pieces. I would prefer it to not move so that I don't accidentally scroll it instead of picking a piece. Also, 2 columns of pieces would be nice instead of 1. ~It would be nice to see best time on the puzzle selection screen. For the moment, we only see the time it took at the end of a puzzle, but the time is not displayed anywhere else. ~It would be nice to have achievements Negatives--- (new points) -The art is beautiful, but I don't think it is quite appropriate for a puzzle game. It's not always the case that when an image is beautiful, it makes a fun puzzle game. In a few of the images, there is big portion of empty space, blurry background, large portion of the same color (mostly for pack: Jigsaw Puzzle 2 and 4). Images are a big part of why someone would play a puzzle game. I think the theme is interesting but not quite puzzly enough for me to want to play this game. (Same points as in "Classic Jigsaw Puzzles") -No option to modify increase/decrease sound and music (but you can disable/enable it altogether, which is nice but not what I was looking for). -There is no way to reduce or increase the size of the reference image when it's in a movable window. Because the reference is over the pieces, it makes it hard to work with, without always toggling it or moving it around to be able to see the pieces. -Collision on puzzle piece is not super accurate. I can pick up a piece without touching it (by the hole). -I wish there was a way to reset a puzzle -DLC are not included directly in the main game. When clicking the "Play" button from Steam, you have a series of radio buttons with all of the DLCs. It think it would be nicer to have them integrated in the main game instead of selecting them on start. I can't recommend this game because of the images choice. Pretty art doesn't always make fun puzzle. After playing both this one "Jigsaw Puzzle - Pro Edition" and "Classic Jigsaw Puzzles", people interested in playing game from this dev should buy "Classic Jigsaw Puzzles" instead.
Fun game, a lot of variation of puzzle's! Can enjoy this game for hours! absolutely worth the price for what you get, there are a lot of puzzle games, this one is definitely one of the best!
Excellent Jigsaw game feels Fresh and Modern with lots of DLCs. Play it. Excelente juego de Rompecabezas se siente Fresco y Moderno con mucho contenido DLC. Recomendado.
Beautiful puzzles, and a decent setup too. Very much enjoying this so far.
bun
I like the variety of the puzzles, The only bad thing going on right now is that in expansion pack 8 (with the exception of the first group of puzzles in the row) all of the pictures shown when you scroll do not match the actual puzzle. Which is okay because I like the actual puzzle better. I haven't checked all of the other expansion packs but this one might be the only one messed up like this.
The artwork is amazing! I like how it saves your progress and you can choose how many pieces you want to do. I personally like doing the 140pcs puzzles as they only take me 15-20 mins to complete. There are 80 total puzzles but I think after I finish this set i'll go in and do the 240pcs versions. Also i highly recommend getting the expansion bundle. When i bought this i got all the expansions for $14 and its an extremely good price as the puzzles are very enjoyable because of the beautiful artwork it brings. This original version has a lot of space, dystopian, monster, and cyberpunk themes.
This is a new take on jigsaw puzzle games, with fresh artwork. The art selection is awesome and it challenges you with complex color combinations and minutious details. Great game. I recommend it for all those who want to take a brake and relax in a slow paced puzzle with awesome art.
