About
On summer vacation Jasper and Nora were separated, when one of them carelessly decided to enter the forbidden forest in front of their grandparents farm all alone.
Jasper, Nora's young brother, gathers courage when he sees a star falling out of the night sky and takes on the quest to find and bring back his beloved sister and reunite the family.
Survive the Cold!
Something is going on in the depth of the old forest in front of grandma Sophies farm: Snow and ice, in the middle of summer?
Don't venture too deep into the icy cold of the whispering forest or you will join the freezing souls of Myr!
Bring the World to Life!
A shooting star crashes inside the very forest where Jasper's big sister is thought to be missing. Where will it guide Jasper?
Light up candles and lanterns and experience the forest coming back to life!
Complete your Collection!
Document the mystical nature of the forest and its inhabitants and present your findings at the Library of Myr.
Find Nora’s treasures and other collectables and showcase them back at the Narrator’s home.
Collect Soul Dust to strengthen Jasper's fallen star and increase your power!
Make Friends!
At first glance only the whispering masks live within the shadows of the woods.
But wait, is that light in the distance? The deeper you go, the more you will learn about a civilization that only a few people ever got to tell stories about.
Reveal the Mystery!
Ice and snow in the middle of the summer. The stars are falling out of the sky. Whispering masks lurk in the shadows. The lights of a city on the horizon. And a name that makes the people of Myr shudder: Svangur

We started working on Jasper with a vision of what we would love to play, today we are proud and happy about what we created.
After we worked so long on Jasper, it's sometimes hard for us to keep focus on what matters. For us this is not just a game we love to play anymore but a passion project that we poured our heart into and at this point we constantly get lost in little details.
So for the next step we are moving to a community-driven approach. We need to continue work on this openly and with your opinions, wishes and criticism!
If you are into games that are fully about immersing yourself into mystical worlds, cultures and heartwarming stories, please join us on this journey. Jasper is our framework to build a world about love, kindness and slowing down.
Join us on the Weasel Club Discord to discuss with us about the City of Myr that is hidden within the Whispering Forest.

A beautiful, story-based game that takes you through a mystical forest and accompanies brave little Jaspar on his journey to find his sister Nora. Lovely narrative, characters and details. Brings back some childhood memories in me of how I thought and felt as a child and I can relate well to Jaspar. Looking forward to experiencing more with Jaspar and his little star. <3 Thank you so much for this!
A beautiful game by talented and kind people.
A beautifully crafted beginning to a story. If you enjoy slow paced, well-narrated games, take the time to let yourself be immersed in Jasper's world. It's a relaxed, guided storytelling experience that gently leads you through the narrative in a delightful way, with plenty of little details strewn along the way. The two main mechanics introduced in this Prologue (melting of the ice/collecting soul dust) have no timing contraints or any sort of pressure to them, which is perfect for casual players or if you just want to play a game and be immersed in the story without having to worry about mechanics that take you out of the game and have you running around frantically in search of the last flower to collect. I am very excited and curious to see where the story takes us in the future!

Light on gameplay but i feel that's the point, it's a cute world and story in the early stages of development and i appreciate what is here so far, when possible i may even give my support to the devs!
Played a little bit of it thus far; it felt encouraging! The game play felt smooth and the overall visual aesthetics (from physics to the frame rate and appearance of in-game textures) was definitely beyond what I expected for an initial early release. The storyline seems encouraging thus far -- while it seems lighthearted, there's certainly a subtle hint of darker undertones in the missing people(s). If nothing else, I definitely recommend this game on the basis that it's A) early access and we can easily support that, B) it has the foundation of something fun and entertaining, C) it's free (c'mon, you can't beat that), and D) I enjoyed it (which is selfish, but still). So yeah, looking forward to more!
A very beautiful start of a story. If you like storydriven games, well narrated, this is for you. It takes you on a cute little adventure from Jasper who tries to find his sister Nora, who got lost in a forest. It is not your typical open world game, more like a laid back storytelling game which takes you by your hand and leads you through, but in a very positive way. Just perfect for a cozy evening (or more ^^) to enjoy an interessting story. Definitly recommended, especially that you can try it for free. :)
I really enjoyed the story and way the game menu was designed. It was super cute and creative. Can't wait for more!
This game Feels like having a Audible Experience while Playing the game, Ahh thats why Narrative games are so Incredible also looking forward to the story cant wait how the plot goes!
So far, I am loving the game. I can't wait to see what it will be once it is finished. I know how difficult it is to make a game and just how long it takes.
Neat little game. Needs some introduction to the keys and keybinding but other than that played really smooth and is quite interesting. The Prolog took me around 1h. I hope it gets a bit less linear after the prolog.
