About
Jamhouse is a fast paced falling block/platformer hybrid where the board forms the ground beneath your feet. You're surrounded by jams! Pick them up, chuck them around, clamber all over them -- just make sure to keep making matches, or you'll be buried in fruit preserves before you know it.
The more you play, the more you uncover! Beat challenges and accumulate score to unlock new characters, new flavours, and new outfits with which to customise your runs! Raise the stakes with new ways to play, or make a pretty palette with your collection of colours.
It's all sweet and simple fun on the surface, but dig a little deeper and you'll find an endless well of depth that never stops rewarding your creativity. You can arrange jams in clever shapes, set up massive chain reactions, play lightning-fast for big time bonuses: there's more to Jamhouse than meets the eye.

This game is made to challenge. First you learn the reflexes and you gradually build them as you get more and more into the flow of the gameplay. You'll hit a limit with reflexes alone, though. Then you have to get into the techniques while still maintaining your reflexes, building combos, juggling, not letting the falling jams mess up your plans. That's the part that makes this game go from good to great. It literally teaches you to think fast. I am not good at this game. I may never be very good at this game. But I know why I'm not good at this game and it's because I need to be thinking better and faster and I am down to try doing that. This game is engaging, it is challenging and it is addicting. You can turn your brain off playing it or you can let it force your brain to be very much on. All my friends should play this game. This is truly a game for anyone.
Very addictive, I'm gonna be playing this whenever I have downtime I think. Fun schmovement and interesting puzzle gameplay!

Extremely simple but in the best way. No frills puzzle goodness. It took me a bit to put it down long enough to write this review. I was 'one more game' - ing for a solid 10 minutes. I can't wait to see how it runs on the Steam Deck. Edit: It runs perfect on the deck. A solid purchase for a puzzle fan.
Easy to learn, hard to master. I'm really bad at it, but it has a magical quality where it's fun even when I'm failing. I love you Jamila please kiss me
What a fun, inventive, and joyful (so far…!) take on a classic format. Great game! I’m only on the early levels but I can already see a depth and cleverness that has me exited for more. The art style, sound, and music design are also fantastic. Can’t wait to get all sticky with Jamhouse!
If you’re a fan of score attack and fast-paced matching games like Tetris or Kirby’s Avalanche, I think this is a unique take on the genre. I’d argue it’s accessible for people who don’t particularly click with that kind of game, too: The platforming elements bring some extra mechanical nuance, rewarding experimentation and letting you approach the game in different ways. I’m fairly bad at this sort of game – and jamhouse is certainly challenging – but that bit of freedom makes it less intimidating to learn! Even in my short playtime, I’ve managed to learn something new each run (and progressively get a bit further). The music and presentation are charming, too. That said, I wouldn’t recommend eating any of that jam you have no idea who might have been walking all over it and throwing it into the walls
I am adoring this game. It's like a match-three falling-block platformer. I've only unlocked one additional avatar than the default, but they're slightly different modes of gameplay, giving a good variety. I'd assume the other 2 avatars have different gimmicks as well... I just have to get to Level 10 to find out! If you enjoy match-three games, give it a go!!
It's funny how most reviews here fall into one of two buckets: those with a few hours of playtime max, and those with 10+ hours, yet they're all positive. That is to say, Jamhouse is a game for a particular kind of sicko and you'll know very quickly whether that's you or not. It might be too frantic for me, personally, but I can't really fault it for anything. Really clever, tasty-looking arcade puzzler that feels great to play.
might be the best arcade game I've ever played, super fun and never gets old, if this had a mobile port I'd play it until my fingers fell off, and if they ever add a multiplayer mode I'd buy more copies just to play with my friends,
