Has potential, fun 60 cent game.
NBA JAM IN VR!!! Jam Gods is a amazing game and is really fun!! I was on fire dunking from super far away like a beast! At one point I made 4 three pointers in a row and literally felt like I was Steph Curry! There are tons of different modes to play and things to explore in this game it really has a lot to offer! If you are looking for a cool fun Basketball game then you cant go Wrong with Jam Gods!
👑 Powered by HoI 4 Deu Curators group in German / English 👑

Follow Main group
Follow Second group
English: -------------------------------------------------> Jam Gods by Static Wild is a basketball simulation. Jam Gods promises to make us a superstar in this immersive experience, with all the tricks and gimmicks a basketball game has to offer. We are standing on a backyard basketball court with only one basket, two police cars are parked in the corner. For whatever reason, and why do the licence plates also say Police? Apart from that, a few listless wooden zombie spectators are sitting or standing on a not very stable grandstand. Around us, tall houses in surrealistic colours. Everything in a gruesome graphic. Huge, confusing menus in bright colours accompany us through the game. The entire colour palette seems to be on LSD. Jam Gods does offer its own body, but it just sort of wiggles around underneath us and doesn't match our real body in the slightest and only disturbs us. You yourself and even the enemies look like 80s poster boyzombies come to life. The controls are lousy to say the least. The ball sticks to your hands by itself, it is automatically thrown overhead and if you take the ball with your right hand it suddenly appears on the left if you have selected left-handed in the menu. It's all very confusing and not well thought out. In addition, the controls seem to be designed for the Vive walls. All in all, Jam Gods is not even worth the little money it costs. The worst VR basketball game by far. 👀Ball in the basket and onto my curator page. 👑 Powered by HoI 4 Deu Curators group in German / English 👑

Follow Main group
Follow Second group

Experienced on the Meta Quest 2
You can view my initial impressions review & gameplay here: https://youtu.be/nM-RZF6FLtY Per the dev, this game was released in Early Access in an Early Alpha stage as a "surprise drop." It should NOT have been released. I struggle to find anything positive to say about this game. It's bad. Shooting mechanics? Feels like there is no skill involved. Ball just goes in most of the time, sometimes without even me wanting to shoot it. When I actually shoot the ball like I would in normal life, it shoots out like a rocket and goes way above the basket. AI? Dumb as rocks. Just follows you around. Maybe it falls down. If it falls down you can then shoot. Seems to shoot randomly and then miss most of the time as long as you have your hand up. Visuals? Ugly. Sounds? Ugly. Music? Had to turn it off. Multiplayer? Only async local (you in VR versus local PC player). Dev does say he plans to add multiplayer in the future. The game MAY be much better against real players, assuming it works. Bugs? Ball did disappear, but no crashes. Game ran at mostly 90 fps. It's running on the Unity Engine. You do have full locomotion, along with smooth or snap turning. Unfortunately, the game looks & plays like it's in Early Alpha. I know it's only 99 cents (.59 cents on sale), but I wouldn't recommend it even if it were free. This is among the worst VR basketball experiences I have ever had. It didn't even feel like I was playing basketball. However, it is in Early Access. It's a passion project from a solo dev. He may improve the game in the future and it may be a good game in the future. However, I can only rate the game as in on release and currently, as is, I cannot recommend. For being one developer and in Alpha, this game is awesome. Keep in mind that in alpha stage, there will be plenty of improvements. This game has mad potential. I really love jumping up in VR to Dunk on a fool or go for that high block. It feels super satisfying. Also, the music is indie, and I totally dig it. Also, I believe the developer made the music too. I'm excited to see all the improvements in a game with a great start.
Slick controls, fun gameplay, and a ridiculously low price-tag make this hidden gem a no brainer.
really funny game with hilarious rag-doll physics. i will try asymmetric mp when i get the chance
surprisingly very fun, i just hope there's a mode without the slow effect. Also the passing is really weird when playing 2v2, still fun as hell tho.
I really enjoy this game and think it has lots of potential, and only 1 dolr
