This game is a must-have for everyone who wants to create a racing game. It is a great “how to not” Japan Underground Racing features: - driving physics so realistic, you can barely turn, you always drift, always and if you attempt to drift, you drift a little more, but hey, at least the cars can’t even drive a straight line, swaying like container ship in a heavy storm - a car selection so large, the 5 cars that are available (Nissan S13, Nissan S14 [two variants], Mitsubishi Eclipse, Honda Civic EK) are qualitywise all the same (not) and the modding is definitely not always the same bodykits THROUGH THE BODIES OF THE CARS, just ignore modding, the same 9 exhausts (though they don’t work on the S13 Kouki), the same 2 ugly “hood”-options (they’re just glue-ons), the same 6 wing options, only chrome colors, the same 10 rims … effort? 10 minutes probably, the quality makes it seem like the models were stolen from other games anyways… - car reputation for some reason? What it does? No clue. - a map that looks so great, even the maps from Midtown Madness from 1999 are more detailed. Including buildings with textures of windows that are cut in half and backface culling makes fences and a broken “bridge” disappear from certain angles. Oh, and paper trees (who doesn’t love paper trees?) and bridge pillars, you can just slide through - traffic that acts like real traffic, flying through the air and randomly jumping on the floor (flipped over). Have you heard that nowadays the Vauxhall Vectra, Audi A3, VW Golf IV, Renault Clio and the Renault Megane (always in the same color) are standard Japanese traffic cars and make up about 80% of it? Me neither. Oh, and traffic lanes and directions? Since when does traffic care about that? The wrong side, the middle, where ever you can go. It will also ram you and shove you over the starting line and doing u-turns in intersections is fairly common - the same 3 races (5 actually, but there are 2 mirror variants), so you play the same 5 races for about ~200 times if you want to finish the “career” to 100% funfunfun - opponent racer AI that is so retarded, it makes me want to eat olives with a fork, that’s about its intelligence - a randomized “roulette”-system that gives you money or cars after you won a race… you will - YOU WON 0 $ most of the time… - you can customize the graphics a lot… not. Not at all. - remapping the keys works somehow, but hey, who cares how the keys the keys are called? All in all, the abbreviation JUR is about the same noise you have to make on a daily basis to enjoy this game. I’ve finished this game 100%, trust me, there is no fun to be found here, just wasted time. No amount of your own phonk soundtracks or shows you watch - while you are bored out of your mind playing this game - will save this.
ok
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
The car controls are awkward, the physics are weird, and the graphics and sound are very low level.
goofy game
Пожалуй это одна из самых худших гоночных игр, которые я вообще когда-то играл в своей жизни
