Ithya: Magic Studies

「Blue Turtle」というアーティストがYouTubeなどで長年描いてきた架空ファンタジー世界のアニメーションや楽曲を元に、ToDoリストやポモドーロタイマーなどの生産性を高める機能と、部屋のカスタマイズなどのゲーム性を加えた作業支援ツール。雰囲気がめちゃくちゃ良い。 作業時間やタスクの完了に応じてレベルが上がっていき、主人公の服や家具を購入するためのお金や、訪れることができるロケーションが増えていく。 レビュー時点でロケーションは42ヵ所あり、各地点ごとに「晴れ、夕方、夜、雨、雪」の差分アニメーションが存在するこだわり。個人的にはこれだけでも結構な満足だった。 「移動モード」という自動でロケーションの切り替えができるモードがあるが、このゲームは現実の時間帯にリンクしていない為、切り替えのたびに夜になったり夕方になったりすることが若干気になる部分ではある。 ストアページにも記載されているように、lofiやファンタジー調の楽曲はリラックスできるものが多く、10曲～15曲ほど入ったプレイリストがレビュー時点で20個あり、かなりのボリューム感。 ただ、自分の気に入った楽曲だけを自作のプレイリストとしてまとめるような機能が無いので、今後の実装に期待したい。自前の楽曲のインポート機能も欲しいところだけど、世界観を大事にしている作品なので今後も実装は無いかな。 支援ツールに関して、ポモドーロタイマーの他に通常のタイマーとストップウォッチもしっかり備わっていて便利。他にもカレンダー、今日の予定、週間予定、習慣トラッカー、メモと必要なものは揃っている。ToDoリストは「メインクエスト、サブクエスト」という世界観に合った表示になっているのが地味に嬉しい。メモ機能も古びた本のUIとなっており、世界観を大事にしていることが感じられて良い。 解除できる実績のほとんどは特定のロケーションに隠れているエレメンタル（かわいい）を見つけてクリックすることで達成できる。見つけることはそんなに難しくなく、残りの実績はレベルを上げるだけなので実績達成はかなり簡単な部類。 細かい不満や要望はあるけど、頻繁にアップデートがあり、ロケーションや楽曲が追加されているので今後どんどん改善していくと思う。各所にあるフレーバーテキストがもっと増えてくれるといいな～。 手描きで温かみのあるアニメーションが素晴らしく個人的におすすめではあるのだけど、購入前にYouTubeで雰囲気を見るといいかもしれない。 （ https://www.youtube.com/@BlueTurtle ） [strike]作業支援ツール部分がいらない人は動画だけで済む。 [/strike]

I've been a fan of Blue Turtle's music uploads on Youtube and have been playing them in the background as I did my tasks. Imagine finding out that they have a game for it! I've accrued quite a few of these co-working type games or applications but none quite made me feel as productive, engaged, and feeling consistent as this one. Do take note that I am a fan of RenFaires and medieval-themed things! Hence, it comes down to preference. If you share mine, then I highly recommend Magic Studies! *(੭*ˊᵕˋ)੭*ଘ

This game is cozy and well worth the money if you want a fun way to feel like you're actually making progress toward a project or other goals you may have. I've been using it while prepping D&D sessions and using the main/side quest features to make sure I'm progressing as I'd like to! For those of you who like achievements, this game is super easy to 100% and you can do so in under a week if you cheese it by simply leaving the game open (or spamming quest completions) then finding a few creatures along the map! For the future of the game, I think it may be wise to host community polls or Q&A's for new features / items to purchase! Overall, I give this productivity app a 9.9 / 10! -0.1 Simply because I cannot hide the playlists box by itself (without hiding the entire UI).

This game is getting me through my course like no one's business.

Lovely scenes, fun to customise, helpful as a productivity tool. Now more than ever I am so appreciative of the work artists do without AI.

Incredibly cute game that helps me stay on task. I love the art and using the pomodoro timer! but i am begging yall to pls remove the birdsong at night... while there may be a few species that sing at night, most do not lol

Honestly I love having this game up for ambient noise and I'll usually leave it up all day just to listen to the rain. Its clear how much the creator still loves the game too because there are seasonal updates that I always look forward too.

Cute, authentic pomodoro game. I'm so impressed with how this was made by just one person. Incredible! I've used it for my writing and during discord server events like Creative Time. It's very good!

This is really great. I love the variety of songs, not just lofi. It's perfect for reading fantasy novels.
