It's very bad, android interface just pushed for PC with zero effort. Annoying tutorial. Scoring system is a mess. Game crashed twice during 45 minutes. Game itself isn't stellar either, it's basically a gimmicky Carcassone with some additional clutter mechanics. I like complex games but I don't like making simple games unnecessarily complex.

Never played this boardgame before but it works a lot like carcassonne.

The game is good but the AI can be very frustrating. Especially if you play with more than one. Recommended if you can get multiple human players.

A great adaptation of the board game, but unfortunately marred by bugs that make the game unplayable at times. The main bug is the tile validation that happens at the end of the round, where you've already placed your tiles in accordance with the rules but the game then turns the tiles the red (well a red outline at least) highlighting that they have been incorrectly placed. Sometime you can get round this and replace all your tiles, but more often than not it only highlights a tile thats blocked by another, meaning you have to cancel the game and start again. This is becoming an increasingly regular occurrence and it looks like the developers are past caring, IMHO its only a matter of time before this becomes completely unplayable all the time and for that reason I cannot recommend this game and would point you to maybe more bug free options like tile towns or something, this ones just not worth the frustration of playing right through to the last round of the game (if you're lucky) and it bugging out.

A bit slow watching the tileplacement for the AI, and the screen hasn't got the best layout in terms of overview, but I absolutely love the game.

Реалізаці настолки. Сама настолка дещо схожа на каркасон, але має декілька особливостей. Спочатку у кожного гравця є свій окремий острів, який він розбудовує. Кожен гравець отримує 3 плитки тайла, і може поставити гроші тільки на 2 з них. Інші ж гравець зобовязаний викинути. Потім по черзу гравці можуть перекупити тайли суперників за ціну більшу, ніж та що поставили гравці на свої тайли. Тобто може статися так що у вас ніхто не купить тайли, і ви купите один і буде 3 на руках. Або ж у вас куплять 1, а ви нічого не купите, і буде тільки 1 тайл. Потім ви будуєте свій острів, і вкінці отримуєте очки за певні штуки, які рандомно міняються кожну гру. Для любителів настолок думаю підійде

As a lover of table top / board games, I'm always looking for those same games on Steam. I've had Isle of Skye on my wishlist for quite some time and finally decided to add it to my collection during a massive sale event. Isle of Skye is set in the breathtaking Scottish isle of Skye, hence the name, and seamlessly combines strategy, resource management, and a touch of luck to create an immersive and interactive experience. My thought and takeaways: - The visuals are stunning, making it a must-have addition to any game collection - It's a fast-paced game that will have you on your toes until the very last play (30-50 mins) - Strategic thinking and clever tile placement are very important - Although wealth / income is important in this game, it's not the most important thing - It's easy to learn and playable for everyone age 8 and up I am definitely very happy to finally have this in my collection, and can't wait to travel to the Isle of Skye many more times in the future.

Excellent version. Decent AI.
