About
Isle Frontier is an isometric point-and-click life simulator where you can build a homestead on your own personal island. Live on your own by utilizing your vast array of skills, such as fishing, hunting, cooking, crafting, and more.
This game is focused primarily on a casual and relaxing experience, and as such has less emphasis on survival. A perfect game for those looking for something less stressful than most life sims!
Point-and-click: Isle Frontier relies almost entirely on mouse input, with minimum keyboard input required.

Character customization: Change the appearance of your character at the beginning of the game, and at anytime by using a vanity. Clothes can also be changed at dressers!

Home design: Customize your house by changing the floor layout and building furniture such as beds, chairs, and tables, which can be painted any color you desire.

As you use your various skills, you will gain experience and eventually increase your skill level, which will unlock more features and content. Chop down tougher trees by increasing your logging level, assemble more complex furniture by increasing your building level, etc.
Building: Upgrade your home and construct pieces of furniture.
Compounding: Concoct elixirs that can improve your abilities.
Cooking: Prepare meals that can increase your energy.
Crafting: Create tools and items from natural resources.

Reviews
This review will be on English to help the creator and in Brazilian Portuguese on the bottom to the Public Essa avaliação vai estar em inglês e em português embaixo EN First of all I would like to give all thanks to Ragster for reaching the streamer Giccca and show us this game!! Meus agradecimentos vindo do Brasil! (My thanks from Brazil!!) Secondly I would like to say that this is a really interesting game! Even though it does lacks some features that I will explain futher. The game is a really chill sandbox as for now there is no enemies and seems to have no objective yet. Overview: The game starts with a basic tutorial that teaches you how to get around and learn the basics (makes sense!) however it does let you all alone after that which means that you have to discover things by trial and error (literally seeing if your character says its too high for your skill or not). While I do like to discover all by myself and actually did it, some people might struggle with. For those struggling the skills tab (4) show what you are capable of doing, and what is not there you have to level up to unlock it! Some actions seems that could be easier (i.e. having to put the bait or arrow every time you use it) and keep in mind that placing objects will always be in front of where your character looking. And I didn't found any bug reports so i'm reporting here: When I build the Workbench nothing appeared and when i tried to click on filters the game sent an error message and closed. I had to wait for a while for the recipes to show up and be able to filter it. And finally would be nice to have the game on brazilian portuguese! Thank you so much for your game!!
A fun little life simulator, great way to just chill after"one of those days". The fishing mini game was a little difficult to understand, but once you know it is a little easier, not one of the most frustrating fishing mini game I have played, but definitely up there. It can seem a little grindy if you are playing to advance through and max out all your skills, but if you are just looking to chill and not really think about much this game is perfect! I found that some of the items/tools could have used a pop-up that explained how to use them, it was explained in a separate window, but it would have been more user friendly if it was a pop-up or part of the tutorial. Lastly it would have been nice to have been able to move via WASD rather than mouse clicks, not really a deal breaker to be honest, just a creature comfort for me personally. Overall great chill game for unwinding and not thinking too hard.
Game has promise but for now its a hard no. Terrible mechanics that are just not working right or could be simpler. Too many steps involved to pick things up or move even. Shift click or pick things up faster? Yet the mouse jumps all around when you are collecting resources and wont stay in one place. In order to mine things you have to hold down a button and wait for a pop up dial to say you did good. Just terrible. Aint nobody got time for that. Refunded but will buy again if dev removes all the extra steps involved in farming/harvesting. Also there are no weapons or equipment because there is nothing to fight lol. Yet you can make a bow to hunt? Also the right click and drag doesnt work.
This game was very difficult to figure out. There is no tutorial, the UI is not intuitive, and it's trial and error the entire way. If you enjoy games that feel almost entirely sandboxy without much story or guidance, then this might be for you. It was not for me, or my community. No guidance whatsoever, other than telling me a skill was not enough to perform this action or that. We did figure a few things out but the amount of resources and speed of collecting resources made for an experience that was far from enjoyable.
I have enjoyed my time in this game. It's has a chill vibe and I don't fear dying (at least not yet). Player movement is point-and-click so if that's not your thing you may not enjoy this. Slower progression through the game was nice as well. I enjoy a bit of grinding for things. I struggled a bit to understand placing items where I wanted them, but then realized Ctrl makes the player look in the direction of the mouse and is the direction to place items. For the price I am enjoying this title so far. I look forward to future updates.
The game is cool !
Was looking for a chill little game I could pass the time with alone, and found it with this.
