This is a great game for those who dont like to die all the time no combat. The discord is very helpful and always there to help you when needed. The dev is great and stays on top of any problems and with regular updates. Beautiful graphics and lots of things to build and explore. I highly recommend this game to others. Only thing I dislike is walking/running everywhere but will soon be fixed.
Island Paradise is a relaxing cozy survival family friendly game for all ages. I love the survival genre challenge and have already played for over 200 hours. It is so beautifully designed with tasteful collage of colors and terrain to explore. You will journey through a variety of islands planting and harvesting perennial garden crops and building your own home and furnishings from found resources. There are artful surprises throughout your journey. You will discover valuable treasures and earn “happiness coins”, as you make craftable tools for special projects. You can also choose to fish, raise farm animals and honey bees or grow mushrooms to sell or keep. You progressively gain access to new islands by constructing bridges, tools and equipment. I am eagerly looking forward to many more hours of delightful challenges and achievements, especially for the upcoming multiplayer version set to be released soon. I highly recommend Island Paradise. You’ll experience many hours of enjoyment playing this game! Be sure to check it out!
Game is surprisingly challenging with so much going on. Impossible to get tired of it!
This Game is My Favourite.... Absolutely Awesome 🏠😊🥰🏝️🐨🔨⛏️🪓🪣🍅🌽🥔🍄🟫🍄🥀🌻🌲🏝️🫎🍯🍶🏠
WOW! Honestly, I picked up this game a while ago, and just decided to jump back into it today. I'M SO GLAD I DID! This game has morphed into something amazing and I'm so excited that it's also multi-player! My biggest tip, straight from the dev, is to read the GUIDE when you get into the game. Without "quests" to guide you, the Guide is the BEST resource and you can tell the dev put A LOT of thought into this game. It's MUCH more than meets the eye, and you will not regret taking a look at this game!
I love Island Paradise After Storm. This game fulfills a part of me that no other game has - a well crafted survival game without combat or violence. It's cozy and relaxing and has so many things to do. Every aspect makes me happy - the crafting, the building, gather resources, farming. And yes, it can be a grind, but it's a fun grind. The freedom of being able to do a multitude of things, from exploring to fishing makes this game one of my absolute favorites. Thank you Marius for creating this beautiful game.
Lots to do. Game does need a bit of guess work for some things and after playing for 60 odd hours my axe no longer works, I tried re installing but still no luck. Hopefully this bug can be fixed, other than that I have had no other problems with the game it is nice to look at and if you are mainly interested in the grind without the hassle then this game could be for you.
This is not a fast-paced game, but it will keep you engaged for a long time. I really like that there are many activities to do—building, farming, and mining to raise funds and gather supplies so you can move forward. Progress requires work and planning; nothing is simply handed to you. In the beginning, there is a lot of running around with limited resources. As the game develops, this evolves into train travel, eventually allowing you to use an entire train to move resources and supplies more efficiently. You can journey through the game at your own pace. Each site can be fully developed with furniture, decorations, and landscaping, or you can choose to develop only what’s needed to acquire resources and continue progressing. There are puzzle elements, but not in the traditional sense—there are no mini-games. Instead, you must figure out the best order to develop areas, and there may be multiple ways to achieve your goals. You can also return to previously developed areas to improve them further. I have played this game for 138 hours, primarily in multiplayer, and I have completed the main game. I plan to return to mess around with our creations, especially now that there are new updates with improved gameplay and fun events to come.. :just jen
It's a fun game, but I feel like more direction would be helpful. There are also some game mechanics that could use improving. I would like it if items used for crafting are removed from the inventory as soon as it starts crafting; rather than after the item is crafted. It would also be helpful if there were some indication in the recipes for crafted items as to what is STILL needed by taking the player's inventory into account. A map would be nice as well...
This game has potential but there is zero instructions on how to do anything. Most of the game is wandering around and trying desperately to find what you're supposed to do. Even the guides on the game are vague and don't show you anything, like how to make upgraded Anvils and more. Just over all confusing.
