O estilo steampunk, o clima sujo e industrial, a movimentação do trem e a direção de arte retrô fazem tudo funcionar junto. E Iron Line tenta — e acerta.

The game's graphics is very nice and polished, and it is actually quite fun. For about an hour. It's a nice twist to a tower defense game, where your turrets are spread over different train cars, and there's a weight limit to each train car, and finally you don't get to keep each train car forever; you have to hand it after your job with a particular train car is finished. The basic mechanics are really fun. But after a while, you have so much money you can just load up a single train car with guns and the bugs will barely get past the first train car. There's also a bug where after your contract is finished with a train car and you hand it in, the turrets on there are supposed to be automatically sold, but instead they remain there floating in space. So you get even more guns in that car slot. Hence, you'll eventually get really powerful defenses and you don't even need to do much of anything left. Overall the game is really fun and I love the concept. Just needs to have some more depth, probably tweak the difficulty, and fix that bug so you don't become a train defense god.
Iron Line Positives: + Good idea + Quite fun + Ok graphics + Ok sounds + Its free Negatives: - The bugs (like errors, not in-game enemies) - Difficulty balancing is a bit off - Gets repetetive and monotonus after a little while - Short length (unless you want do the exact same thing over and over) Im not very into tower defense games, but this was quite a fun one. Its got some problems, but its tolerable. And its free and short, so give it a try if you havent played it before. Total Score: 6.5/10
