It's decent but needs more puzzles, memos, and audio logs. Hated the AI that speaks all the time but also hated the AI monster that chased you without any way to kill it. Not scary; no corpses reanimated and no going through vents, etc. I managed to get all the achievements except for one which seems easy just didn't feel like going for it. Also too short and repetitive.

Into Death and Beyond I love all games and i'm always excited when developers give me a chance to try them out! However, I spent more time messing with the setting in order to get the game running in a state that was playable. I found that the character movement was slow, the stamina was draining to say the least as you really did not see much change between the two movement types, even when you did it wasn't for LONG! I found that the mouse setting did not provide, and again moment suffers in-game. Also the use of transnational cut-scenes where annoying, and the game bugged out in several place on its own. Into Death and Beyond was more annoying then worth the effort i put in trying to show you and even writing of this review. While all games deserve praise as they are complex and take time to create, one should make sure the game is playable and you can do things in it. In this case I was unable to fight back against creatures as I had no ammo, could not figure out where to go and felt as the game needed more work. A LOT MORE WORK! I know this is harsh, and the game is not even out yet. I felt that at the time of trying the preview version I should be a brutally honest, and hope that they correct these issues before the release date. I will revisit the game in the future, and hopefully find fun rather then frustration! NOT APPROVED!!! The game starts off incredibly slow after an initial outside monster chase, made infuriating by your rapidly depleting stamina. After finally getting to the first indoor area, it was almost 20 minutes later I found a plasma pistol and had to shoot my first enemy trapped in a door, the game picks up a little here with occasional monsters to shoot. The general gameplay loop is find a key, press a switch, find a code to open a door, find another object and escape while shooting the same looking enemies, eventually a tougher enemy appeared that charges you. The story can be found on notes or computers to read, it is your typical laboratory experiment has gone to s**t Enemies kind of move and look like they are coming home drunk a night out and made me laugh more then anything else. After finishing the first mission, you have to go outside again and yes you guessed it, the same big monster you cant kill and have to run away trom or hide while your stamina depletes and often it hits you resulting in death and reload of your last save. Graphics are OK and have a limited colour palette look, animations are so-so, outside the alien planet all looks very samey with exploding poisonous plants and structures. sound are music were OK but ultimately nothing special. From the short time I played into death and beyond, it was enough to make up my mind, that this is unfortunately a bland, repetitive sci-fi shooter, I didn't particularly find it gripping either as the developer describes it on steam. It`s not a terrible game and some may enjoy it, especially for the low price of under £10, but i wouldn't have high expectations.
⭐️⭐️⭐️ (3/5) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D18ndOlJxSg&t 👑 Powered by HoI 4 Deu Curators group in German / English 👑⠀⠀⠀

Follow Main group
 Follow Second group
 Follow Third group
and discover more reviews from me.
90 minutová hra, kde zase cena neodpovídá kvalitě. Za 90 minut hraní dostanete jednu zbraň, dva druhy nepřátel a tři oblasti, které se dají projít velice rychle, přímočaře - stačí jenom sebrat kartu/použít terminál a získat přístup do zbraňové místnosti pro jednu část zbraně ze tří. Výslednou zbraní zabijeme finální monstrum a hra končí. :D
Into Death and Beyond is a short first-person survival horror game where you’re thrown onto a dangerous planet, chasing down a rogue alien created by some shady experiments. You explore a bunch of abandoned bases, scavenge what you can, and try to piece together what happened—all while staying alive. Pros: ✔️ Base Gameplay Was Fun: I actually liked how the core of the game played, especially when I was in the main base. It kept things simple but still engaging. ✔️ Cool Story Idea: The overall plot had promise, and I was into the idea of uncovering the secrets behind this alien mutation. ✔️ Combat Was Easy to Pick Up: Nothing too fancy, but sometimes that's all you need. It worked for what the game was trying to do. Cons: ❌ Base-to-Base Travel Felt Meh: Moving between areas didn’t add much—it just kind of dragged a bit without much excitement. ❌ Story Delivery Was Weak: Most of the story came from random files, and it didn’t hit as hard as it could have. I was hoping for more direct storytelling. ❌ Ending Didn’t Land: After sticking with it, the ending just didn’t feel worth it. It kind of fizzled out. Conclusion: I think Into Death and Beyond had a solid idea behind it, but it didn’t quite pull everything together. It’s worth playing once, especially for the price, but it didn’t leave me wanting more. Fun while it lasted, but not something I’d go back to. That said, for a quick 1.5-hour game, it wasn’t a bad way to spend an evening. Score: 7 out of 10 broken space helmets—a decent dive into sci-fi horror, but it doesn’t quite stick the landing.
I started the game and the sensitivity was super bad so i went to change it and it's at max sensitivity already. That did not bode well for the game. Definitely need to fix that because im lifting my mouse off my desk and placing it back down just to turn around. That's basically the only problem i found. Luckily, the infected walk super slow. 8/10
