I was a Kickstarter backer for this game, and I was so pleasantly surprised with how much I loved this game! I actually gasped at quite a few parts. And I love that this was made by little girls learning how to make games at such a young age. Just fantastic, all of it. It's a really funny game, sometimes darkly so. If you enjoy point and click games with more dialogue and story than full on button mashing fighting, you will probably love this.
剧情卡住了,鼠标不见了
Okay first things first, I love the art style, it's lovely, the art is all good throughout and it really makes the experience. What unfortunately breaks it is the story, putting as simply as I can, it was unfulfilling and made me feel like I was looking for details for nothing. At one point I thought my clicking everything and learning all I could was going to matter till the character than should have mattered to shrugged and said something like "some plotholes huh". That just broke me honestly, I didn't want to try as hard cause I realised every thing is willy nilly put in and thrown away as the writer's felt it. It makes getting invested in the plot much harder. There definitely needs some work for their next project. Yet I give a positive reveiw cause I like this game despite it. I like it and don't regret the time invested, I want these makers to get better and continue making work cause I see some real potential here, a diamond in the rough. Keep making games, it can go up from here
a short, nice game that deserve your money and your time
If you enjoyed Night in the Woods, I highly recommend you give this game a try. Game-play is only an hour and a half, so its a very short game but still interesting and captivating. I only have two issues with the game, one being the weird black text that appears in some of the dialogue, and that (spoiler) some of the dialogue during the fight repeats itself several times, and there's no real way to skip it if you've already seen/read that particular dialogue. Besides that, 10/10 game, in my opinion.
Great graphics, I like the ending.
An adventure game whose creative team was middle schoolers and is as odd as you would expect It is anchored by the art of the very talented Reimena Yee
This game had a really fun mixture of comedy and suspense to it. Your choices do affect the ending, which I thought was a nice touch. Both of the featured romances in it are interracial, and one is LGBT. The dialogue is authentic and especially the back and forth between the sisters just seemed like something I would say to my little brother. It was a genuinely fun game. Self-referencing, meme-savvy, and all that fun stuff. I'd absolutely say give it a try.
