About

Insurgency: Sandstorm delivers hardcore tactical combat where death is instant, ammunition is precious, and victory demands skill and coordination. Experience modern warfare's raw brutality through deadly ballistics, devastating artillery strikes, light attack vehicles, and HDR audio that puts the fear back into combat.

Push through war-torn streets, secure objectives, and survive lethal firefights. With no crosshair, minimal HUD, and realistic damage, every engagement demands tactical awareness and precision. Manage your ammunition carefully, use cover wisely, and coordinate with your squad—because in Sandstorm, there are no second chances.

Modern combat rewards those who communicate and adapt. Choose from specialized classes, coordinate devastating support strikes with your spotter, and respond to constantly shifting frontlines. Individual skill matters, but teamwork wins the fight.

Battle in intense PvP matches with up to 14v14 players or face relentless AI in co-op missions that demand tactical precision and squad coordination. Whether you prefer competitive firefights or cooperative survival under pressure, Sandstorm delivers.

Powered by gritty visuals and an unmatched soundscape, the chaos of combat comes alive without clutter or distraction. This isn't your typical shooter—this is war as it truly is: brutal, ruthless, and unforgettable.

Reviews
I like Insurgency Sandstorm because the graphics are realistic and the game is user friendly.
This is basically Black Hawk Down: The Video Game
It's pretty easy to play for a milsim but it's still a milsim, so if you expect the type of gameplay you'd see in a BF4 hardcore lobby you'll be gravely disappointed; whether it'd be camping in mp, ammo management or otherwise like most milsims. It also comes with it's charms though, if you have a gun chambered in a bullet with good enough pen, you can wallbang through most walls which is always nice to counter campers. PVE isn't too bad, the bots are a little too weak in my opinion but it's serviceable, the gunplay is pretty good, they feel powerful, mostly at least. Footsteps definitely could be a little more distinct, I barely hear them even when I'm alone in the corner of the map, that coupled with the range of the suicide bombers makes them quite formidable. It's good, but not full price good, especially now after it's been a good while after its heyday.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Poland over the last 30 days: the 21 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 12 places towards #1, and the 2,501 moves with no price cut behind them went 1 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

-Switching to Unreal Engine was a terrible choice, the performance has really tanked compared to the prequel which was made in source engine and ran on potato devices as well. -Microtransactions ruined the aesthetics and look of the game. -There are plenty of bugs including the recurring bug where the equipped sights won't show in game till you switch weapons multiple times, this happened to me every 10 mins. -Mod.Io is absoultely terrible and should have never been added to the game. -LASTLY but Most importantly, the match making is terrible as you almost never find a game in Asia or Europe Servers, As an asian player even if I do find a match on European servers the ping is 280+ the combined with the constant jitters from Unreal Engine 5, The game is unplayable. STAY AWAY!
Assustadoramente realista. Não façam guerra na vida real, esse jogo ensina que não compensa.
