About

Insurgency: Sandstorm delivers hardcore tactical combat where death is instant, ammunition is precious, and victory demands skill and coordination. Experience modern warfare's raw brutality through deadly ballistics, devastating artillery strikes, light attack vehicles, and HDR audio that puts the fear back into combat.

Push through war-torn streets, secure objectives, and survive lethal firefights. With no crosshair, minimal HUD, and realistic damage, every engagement demands tactical awareness and precision. Manage your ammunition carefully, use cover wisely, and coordinate with your squad—because in Sandstorm, there are no second chances.

Modern combat rewards those who communicate and adapt. Choose from specialized classes, coordinate devastating support strikes with your spotter, and respond to constantly shifting frontlines. Individual skill matters, but teamwork wins the fight.

Battle in intense PvP matches with up to 14v14 players or face relentless AI in co-op missions that demand tactical precision and squad coordination. Whether you prefer competitive firefights or cooperative survival under pressure, Sandstorm delivers.

Powered by gritty visuals and an unmatched soundscape, the chaos of combat comes alive without clutter or distraction. This isn't your typical shooter—this is war as it truly is: brutal, ruthless, and unforgettable.

The mechanics were to twitchy everyone is to sweaty. bad game in general 1 out of five stars would not recommend.
Игра дала мне один из лучших опытов тактического шутера за последние лет 10
greatest game oat
Shoot gun. Kill. Win. Lots of fun
After hours on PC and more on Xbox this is one of the most fun military shooters there is. With it being realistic enough to be a hardcore military shooter but is arcadey enough to be casual. Can't run at an enemy with a suicide vest in ARMA.
Insurgency: Sandstorm good, minecraft bad.
Good game
One of the handful of shooters that works on Linux and honestly wish I could recommend the game but as it is now I can't. It's fun but there is a severe lack of ability to just play with friends without having to jump into the cod brained, loser filled public lobbies, try and find a community server that fits what you want, or go through to process of hosting your own server. Steam gives you the tools so we can play with friends but you guys just refuse to actually put the effort into using it. Every update is a handful of bug fixes, maybe one or two new additions, and 10 new cosmetic dlc's. For a game that is priced at $29.99 id expect there to be enough content to back up the price tag and insane amount of "DLC's", but the game is still fairly bare bones and feels like an early access. Yeah their are a decent number of maps but most of them feel so similar The customization for each class is pretty awful and insanely restrictive so if you want to actually use anything alongside your primary weapon you can really only afford 1 or 2 attachments. Which can get fairly aggravating pretty fast. Besides the insanely greedy people behind it, this game its pretty interesting. If you're going to get it, get it while its 75%+ off otherwise its just not worth the money. It's fairly optimized, its a nice mix between COD, ARMA, and other tactical FPS games but, as it is now its not worth the price. It's yet another case I wish steam gave us a mixed option. But here the con's are enough I'd rather give it a thumbs down than thumbs up.
