Independence War™ Deluxe Edition

One of the few space games that even makes an _attempt_ at semi realistic space flight. The way your own ship is so intricately modeled is a nice touch too. Even got some alien spookiness if you're in to that kind of thing. Difficulty spikes are a pain.

Great game. I remember playing this a long time ago... I think it was back in the mid 90s, with Windows 95 or so. Quite addictive. Spent hours playing it. I was quite happy and surprised to see this on Steam. No longer neeed to use my old original disks, which I had to run through Wine. Instead game works natively on Linux! There will be many more hours waiting for me to play this!

Happy i got it on sale and its part of my collection. I will watch for updates and hope the fix the issue with the L points crashing the game. Sadly as of 3.16.23 game still crashes. If you can get a chance to play it i can not recommend this game enough. It was every level of amazing back in the say. To all the awesome Devs i hope you can fix the issue.

The only problem with this game is you have to find the manual again and read through it. In addition, the major problem kb inputs and video. Mainly the video as with multiple screen, it doesn't focus the game to one screen. But for $1.19, you can't really complain.
