I understood that this game was more like a mini-game that could only be played local multiplayer. That is exactly the reason I bought it. The issue that I have with this game is that while this game works over steam-link, Gamestream, etc, it doesn't support multiple controllers over the link. I am using Gamestream on a Nvidia Shield and only one controller works even when you select the settings for "multiple controllers enabled". Beacuse of this issue, I will not be playing this game because playing with bots isn't fun. I do not recommend this game unless you are going to be playing on your computer with multiple controllers.
In space we brawl is sort of like a mix between rocketsrocketsrockets and stardust vanguards. Pick a ship and a secondary weapon, each with their own unique attributes and styles, and brawl out in an open arena with obstacles. In space we brawl has a strong scoring system that takes into account multiple achievements during each match, a progressive and appealing system that only a few other titles have explored. This game wold benefit somewhat from a little extra something during matches to make them a bit more interesting, such as dynamic events - however as it stands it is quite enjoyable. Following the release of some fairly dissapointing space battle games In space we brawl offers perhaps one of the strongest indie space battle arena experiences. The price tag is fairly reasonable for the content. Subscribe to my curator page for more local multiplayer recommendations: http://store.steampowered.com/curator/7189360/

A nice local multiplayer game, which shows the old days of games in split screen, still when there was no Internet and deathmatch you were among friends side by side. The graphics are very bright, colorful and nice to see, along with the large amount of weapons and spaceships to play and make tournaments with friends. Not a single player game, since there is not a proper mode for solo apart from mode "Challenges", which is in effect a tutorial that guides you to learn all the tactics of the game, even if in the Arena mode to fill the game with bot (with different difficulty from noob to unfair levels) It is practically mandatory to use a gamepad. Really fun to play nevertheless
In Space We Brawl is a great galactic twin stick shooter for up to 4 players. It’s a local multiplayer game of skill, fun and competition. You have to find the spaceship that fits your play style and equip it with your favorite tool of destruction. There are more than 160 combinations to master! I have really appreciated the balancing in all the possible combination of ship-weapon in each location. The artificial intelligence is also very good, both for novices and experts, 4 difficulty levels. I totally recommend this title for your brawling night with friends and beers.
A pretty basic Local-Multiplayer twin-stick shooter battle arena in space
https://youtu.be/hniyK2GPKa4 + Vivid colors and fancy explosions + A variety of ships and weapons - It's a minigame... The games don't last very long, theres no campaign, story, or online multiplayer, so what you are left with is an amusing game to play with bots or with a friend for a very short while. (kind of hard to get 4 people together locally on PC) - I feel like there's too much unneccessary clutter on the maps (mostly floating asteroids) that you are meant to avoid, but to me they just seem annoying and get in the way. - Some of the "special" weapons seem overpowered compared to others. - Really just lacking content overall in comparison to other games I'd say it's a good "party" minigame, meaning that it's very short-lived but might bring some good social fun if you have 3 other people in a room, and have the means to connect them all to your PC... Otherwise, I simply can not suggest this game without adding online multiplayer, and perhaps even a progression system of some sort.

XInput only. For a local 4 co-op only game. Yes, absolutely correct - the 4 players will all have xbox 360 gamepad. (nowhere on the store page it's says "xbox 360 gamepad only". Just "full support" or whatever. If you know what that means please call me.) You with a keyboard and 3 bots. Very co-op.
No way to turn off the garbage that's flying around. Controlling the ship is ALREADY challenging, and with debris flying around you have to focus on it just to stay alive and keep shooting around hoping that you will hit something.
Zero options for any map to begin with. 8 total maps. Each one slightly different. In color and some details. Like 1 map has asteroids flying around, the other one has that AND a black hole flying around, slightly draging you there. That's it. Yes, it's "interesting" but it just adds more garbage to dodge. The sole thing you would actually wish for is an option to turn ALL of that off, so that each of you could shoot each other. And actually play a game and not just dodge the space debris. Perfectly, there should be at least basic options for each map - debris: on/off. Buffs: on/off. Wind: on/off. Warped space: on/off. But instead you just choose "Location" - which is the choise of a map itself, like "Galaxy Core" (which is near sun, because the sun is the center of a galaxy, yes) - which just changes the theme of a map, in this case a map being "Sun thematic". And then you choose from 3 sizes of that map, so called "Alfa sector", "Beta sector", "Gamma sector".
Controls are bad. Yes, they are "simple to use" -> wasd (and should be D-pad or left stick on a gamepad) to move in 4 directions, but it just lacks control and precicion. You press "A" (left) - the ship starts to fly left in a curve. Whether fast ship or slow (like "jugernaut") - makes little help here, because with the controls designed like this - dodging the space debris is very difficult. (not challenging but difficult because of a bad controls choise). IMO this game could benefit controls mechanic from LUFTRAUSERS, or at least it could be an option.
Voice actors should be fired... from a cannon. In options you can select "Voice pack" which will make that voice "yours" -> when someone from your enemys dies - "you" will say something. 90% of those voices ("voice packs") are just stupid and annoying, and treat you like a 12 years old. (The only one that was bearable for me was voice "SZ 83-5"). And why the heck would you even implement a voice lines in such a broken game? There's so many horrible gameplay decisions made, - many things to actually improve and yet to stuff pointless voices in a game... When you respawn after being killed - you will have a hard time trying to figure out where you are, and someone saying something poitnless and annoying in a background is not helpful.
In Space We Float. Desperately trying to dodge all that crap that's flying in our faces. Also, the xbox 360 gamepad is the only gamepad in the universe. I actually refunded 1,79€. At least fix first two cons that I mentioned above - then this game will be worth something. Perfectly, all of the mentioned above. And then there will be more people that buy and recommend this game.
I tried this during an event. The game itself good and enjoyable, with lots of combinations and maps to play. When played with friends this game become hilarious especially if you do what everyone wants to do: throwing meteors. Also the dub is fantastic, the new Magicka i would say.
Local multiplayer games are so hard to find, but finally here is one which brings MADNESS and FRENZINESS to parties with friends. Fast paced matches, funny game dynamics, many and many ships/weapons/arenas to choose: perfect match to humiliate in 1001 ways your buddies! Personally I fell in love with the combo Striker + Quantic Slinger, with which you can launch wandering asteroids and create chaos in the arena. Who need the rules? WOO-HOOOOO!!! I think this game isn't designed for online multiplaying, and the single-mode with the "bustard" bots is enjoyable, but not as the human one. A friend's advise? Take your combination or a random one, and play it BETTING with your friends! And don't forget to try all the voice packs! :D

To many astroids and ♥♥♥♥ flying around to really enjoy the game. Player victories rely to much on avoiding things then actually shooting the enemy. Thought there would be alot more customization. I feel the voices and music got more attention then the game did.
