This was a really pleasant surprise. It's been sat in my steam library for a while and I just picked it to play randomly - I'm so glad I did. I'm not actually a fan of survival horror, and that's not only because I find them a bit oppressive after working all day but also the plots don't tend to be that interesting. Most of them don't do much compelling with exploration or atmosphere either. This game is different. It's a series of shorter stories built into a larger narrative, and a metroidvania-ish approach to unlocking new areas. The stories have been interesting so far, and I love the fact that they didn't feel the need to have jump scares, which are a bit childish and a crutch at this point. This is not THAT scary, but eery and spooky in just the right measures. It reminds me quite a lot of Edith Finch except with added combat and no narrator, which is a genuine compliment.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,419 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Amazing
Very satisfying gameplay throughout (maybe less so you Flash, maybe...), completed in just over 10 hours while doing minimal searching around. Though if you must seek out any collectible, make it the vinyls, there's some really nice tracks to listen to after each section that relate to the part of the story you will have just completed.
Was having some trouble finding a new game to play. Had some money on my steam account and coincidentally this game had just gone on sale, and it intrigued me. I was pleasantly impressed. At the time of publishing this review, I have not yet finished the game, however from what I have played so far, the game is very entertaining, I love the artstyle and the story. The VA is pretty good as well, however Tonia could be better. I don't understand the ghostly effect applied on her, but that is the extent of my complaints. It's a very good game, highly recommended.

Really cool inventive game that I can't help but feel overstays its welcome somewhat, ignore my hyper inflated playtime, I left the game paused multiple times for long periods, its more around 14 hours for a completionist run. Absolutely loved the first two levels, but the latter half really didn't bring the same creativity in the mechanics, or level design. Unfortunately the game began to feel the need to solve its own puzzles for you for some reason as the game goes on, 80% of problems presented in the final two levels it felt like the protagonist or a note would immediately give away the solution the second you're thrust into a situation as if the developers were nervous you will have forgotten a tool exists less than 30 minutes after you last had to use it. I wish there was a toggle for these hint systems for players who don't want to feel like they're being spoonfed and babied in a game that's supposed to dabble in pretty dark topics. Still 100% worth a shot because the first 8 hours or so, I was so incredibly pleasantly surprised with what was on offer carried almost entirely by its uniquity alone. Story had potential but I sadly feel like the weighty topics were handled in the most sanitised way possible, with some mental health problems shown handled decently, and others presented in such a cartoonish manner it just can't be taken seriously. I also recommend not going in expecting to be scared, the atmosphere can be thick enough to create an uneasy tension, with an ambient soundscape that really can get you on edge but I don't believe this game's intentions are to disturb, more to generally unnerve and then pierce through the tension with a really engrossing setpiece that would often cause me to find myself genuinely smiling in a 'I can't believe they just did that' kind of way. That being said, you're never in any real danger even on the hard difficulty which is a shame, but it's certainly one way to get around lacklustre combat mechanics. Its criminal to put a shotgun in a horror game and not either give me ragdoll physics or headpopping on a creature that then still continues walking for 3 steps before slumping, one of the ten commandments of the genre. The amount of criticism I have in this game surprises me because overall I really do think its worth playing especially at the deep deep sales it tends to end up at. The game really is more than the sum of its parts, and I hope this game's success will allow the next project from this team to really nail it. Oh yeah, and the non ambient parts of the soundtrack are an interesting touch. Ranging from some kind of licensed tracks that can only remind me of the...upper echelons of minecraft parody songs from the early 2010s, to a Rammstein cover band type chic. Not really sure it fits in quite the way the dev was intending, but its a cool novelty that I'm sure others will get more out of than me.
好! 六首音乐也好听!
Best game I've ever played. I got it for free when it came out on Epic, not expecting much out of it and it blew my mind. Please, if you are considering buying it, let me tell you it's worth the money. Great story, great soundtrack, great moments and great game overall. This is a 10/10 for me. Thank you We Create Stuff. Amazing work.
