[h1] Призраки против тыкв [/h1] Небольшой тактический автобаттлер. [h1] СЮЖЕТ [/h1] Отсутствует полностью. [h1] ГЕЙМПЛЕЙ [/h1] Игровой процесс представляет собой сражения на небольших аренках между призраками и тыквами. В начале нам проводят небольшое, но информативное обучение. Имеется пять маленьких локаций, каждая из которых включает три стадии и бесконечный режим выживания на максимальное время. Прохождение каждой локации в общем-то требует одних и тех же действий с небольшими вариациями. Для победы необходимо, чтобы к концу сражения наших юнитов на арене оказалось больше чем вражеских (счёт ведётся в правом нижнем углу экрана). Бой длится ровно пять минут с обратным отсчётом времени. Процесс прост и напоминает игру "камень-ножницы-бумага". На уровне в рандомных местах, с определённым интервалом времени появляются враги в разных сочетаниях, а наша задача - располагать своих воинов так, чтобы в итоге выиграть. Бойцы сражаются сами, имеют определенный радиус, в котором замечают и атакуют, это касается и наших призраков и вражеских тыкв. От команд игрока зависит - какие наши воины (их четыре вида - боец ближнего боя, стрелок из рогатки, маг и лекарь) и где на карте будут вызваны. Небольшое уточнение - лекаря можно призвать только одного максимум и частенько вокруг него и пытаемся строить свои боевые порядки. Вызов воинов стоит особого ресурса. Его накапливаем путём сбора специальных сфер, которые появляются в рандомных местах и иногда остаются от убитых противников. Дело "осложняется" тем, что наши призраки довольно недисциплинированы. Если видят врага, то атакуют без оглядки и когда бой окончен не возвращаются на свои изначальные места расположения. Это приводит к постоянному разрушению строя и, как ни странно, делает процесс игры более интересным, так как приходится хотя бы немного предвидеть как в итоге встанут бойцы в той или иной ситуации. Противники атакуют практически теми же юнитами, что играем мы, только со скинами тыкв. Враги появляются рандомно, как поодиночке, так и отрядами. Может и мини-босс заявиться, тогда потребуются серьезные усилия, чтобы его угомонить. По мере прохождения уровней нам становятся доступны глобальные очки развития, которых не может быть потрачено более чем 20. Все перки всех наших воинов открыть не удастся, поэтому нужно выбирать с умом. Рассмотрим плюсы и минусы игры, подведем итоги. [h1] ПЛЮСЫ: [/h1] + Простая, но приятная графика. + Простая, но интересная система противостояния юнитов. Надо быстро продумывать какого куда юнита ставить. + Простой, но хороший ресурс-менеджмент. [h1] ТО, ЧТО МОЖЕТ БЫТЬ КАК ПЛЮСОМ ТАК И МИНУСОМ: [/h1] +- Игра довольно казуальная. У каждого свои предпочтения по этой теме, поэтому ни к плюсам ни к минусам не отношу. [h1] МИНУСЫ: [/h1] - Общая не очень большая продолжительность игры до момента открытия всех уровней и полной прокачки наших бойцов. Играть дальше можно, но особого смысла не вижу. - Нет русской локализации хотя бы текста. Но и, справедливости ради, переводить с английского там не особо много и всё довольно очевидно. [h1] ВЫВОДЫ [/h1] Какого-то восторженного впечатления игра не оставила, но и плохой её не назовешь. Если цель - вечерок ненапряжно тактически показуалить, то может быть интересна. This is a cute fun tactics game that happens in real time. In it you purchase different units to place on the map and they go to work battling all by themselves. Strategy is about unit choice and placement which can get really fun once the difficulty ramps up. As you progress you also have level up trees to go through for each of the unit types, adding more strategy choices. This has a graphic style that I absolutely love. The cute spooky theme is one of my favorites and they have done a great job with the look of levels and characters. For the price I definitely recommend picking up, It's a great game to have in your library to play a round or two on breaks and for some spooky fun!

I honestly don't believe the game is worth 4.49 or 4.99 for that matter in its current state. Most of your time is building your army and just basically waiting until you go to the next level. The final level you have to use healer towers to secure your zones, but I literally got through 95 percent of the game spamming ranger tower upgrades until the last level. The achievements also seem like time burners instead of something that tests your game play/knowledge. Granted I'm Drunk, but I beat the game and I feel like it was a good concept, but executed poorly with balancing.

For $5 you can't go wrong with Impious Pumpkins. It's a casual real-time tactics game where you place 4 different types of ghostly units defending each of their respective resting places from evil hordes of pumpkins (hence the title). The game has a very small learning curve and it's very easy to pick up and play when you aren't looking to spend hours grinding in other games. As you progress, you earn skill points for each level you complete. These skill points go toward a skill tree for each of the different types of ghosts. These include a melee, ranger, mage, and healer. Again, at the $5 price point you can't really go wrong and it's definitely worth supporting the dev.

I was lucky enough to get this game as early access to review and I really loved it. The 4 deployable classes do become more tactical towards the end as you use the sword units to draw others into your rangers firing lines. Genuinely lost track of time playing it - if you ever liked games such as Fat princess, the original Plants V Zombies or Pixel junk monsters series this is a game for you.

Just finished it! Lovely little game - Good music, nice graphics and light gameplay. Reminds me some old custom defense map from warcraft 3. It starts easy, but gets harder as the game progresses: you'll feel the difficulty during third world levels. There's a skill tree, for better efficiency, you gotta focus on one ghost type. I've maxed melee ghosts and then switched to ranged ghosts and spent the rest of skill points on medic. Game puts pumpkins randomly and that can make things crazier. If you have a rough start, better restart level. My only critics is pointed towards balance. It's Ok, but really could use some tweaking. Mages are expensive and they aren't making any difference late game, although if you manage to spam them they will obliterate whole battlefield. It's quite challenging, but i sure had fun playing this. No bugs encountered. Definitely worth its price.

Its always spooky time with this cute and fun Real Time tactics game. The music is very well done and the levels look great. While there were some balancing issues, the developer is already fixing them to balance the game better. The character leveling is refreshing for a game like this. Most of them just have the unit do more damage, a shield, or cost less. The upgrades in this game, while also having those options, also have upgrades for special abilities like lighting damage and enemy slows.

Despite of having a balancing issue in regard to the difficulty, Impious pumpkins still manages to offer the player a cute, simple but challenging real time tactical game experience with horror themed esthetics. Battle all manner of spooktacular enemies who will do their best to bring you down. Across multiple environments you can choose between various weapons, suited for different tasks. Unlock your skill tree and become the biggest, baddest Impious Pumpkins battler that you can possibly imagine!

A tower defense game with a skill tree? That's innovative! Assign your skill points to suit your play style. Gameplay is fun and makes you want to keep going. Very cute graphic and sfx and I love cute things!
