I truly don't know what to say about this game, it's so good! This game somehow manages to talk about a LOT of different topics, some funny and some truly depressing. PS: the secret/true ending is one of the few moments where a game made me cry (idk why, the scene isn't even that sad)...
I enjoyed my first run but then it gets too repetitive the art style is great the narration is perfect and the game has a really good concept but the game is poor its not really fun to play at least for me it could be way better
Not really a game as much as it is an experience or a lecture, sort of. If you are a completionist, some endings are hard to trigger as you can't do anything manually, you just have to restart over and over again to finally get the unique events they are tied to. It's fun to see how good or how bad you can do in this theoretical life, but a lot of times the choices aren't up to you, the cards you were given are randomized, things can go south even if you think you did everything right. I got into it mostly hearing bad things about it, really wanted to see it for myself. While most of the social commentary it has is redundant, as far as philosophical games go it accomplishes what it's set out to do. Personally found it interesting, even if it had nothing ground breaking to say. There's some amusing tidbits and oddities in game to discover, some comedy, some unique fourth wall breaks. I feel like a lot of the negative reviews come from a place of high expectations. It's not as existential or deep as a lot of other philosophy-driven games go but I think you can have a good time clicking away until you get all endings and exhaust the possibilities.

Weird but fun. It was fun to go achievement hunting on this one.
Everything humorous aside I think imagine lifetimes is sort of this game that tries to emulate this lightning in a bottle effect that comes with multi-path games like this, and just falls a little short on the fact that it's a bit too much the nose with this sort of... philosophical humor, and I feel the game cannot subtly describe it's themes. Now, regardless of that, Imagine Lifetimes is a game I think that is charming on the first few times you play it, it does have some clever humor that will definitely tickle you. But it is not a game I feel like is something to be 100%'d. Because it's a game that feels like the game artificially makes itself long, and thus feels tedious to complete considering you have to complete it, but it feels just short enough that completing an ending doesn't feel satisfying, or that it's short enough that the game simply does not give enough to chew on. Overt negative parts aside, there is definitely scenes in this game that I would recommend playing for yourself, as it is definitely a game that feels like it hit the mark on how you can naturally discover most of it's endings, a game that truly thought of "what if I did this" and you get your answer. Personally for me, though, the way the narration and the presentation fall short on retrospect. Is Imagine Lifetimes a game I would recommend? Yes. It's definitely a game that if you do like multi choice, choose your own path games with some meta humor, it would be right up your alley. And for it's price? It is worth the buy. But please, do not buy this game if you are looking for other themes that games of the similar genre have. It is what it is. also 7/10 2 points racked on for sound design and the cancer route in it's entirety
When I first saw this game's trailer I was overly excited. There aren't many "realistic" simulation games, even more so in a visual novel type mechanic, and honestly, I'm a sucker for sim games. I love the Sims, Stardew Valley, Otome games, Life is Strange, etc. but I've always been more narrative driven, and this game looked promising. So when it came out, I went and downloaded it without seeing it's not made for iOS. Lol, my bad tbh. After playing the game it honestly baffles me a bit they haven't patched it (after years after its release) so people with Macs can play it because honestly? The game mechanics and AI look super simple. So years passed, literally, before I played the game. It made me even more excited when I saw Markiplier play the game, but I did not see his video because I wanted to wait until I could play it. BIG mistake. It so happened a few weeks ago I finally could play it on a PC, and while I was expecting to be sucked into endless choices and intricate narrative, I was left disappointed. The game is extremely short, it has only a few choices per life stage, and overall its... bland. The beginning is great actually, but afterwards? The choices you make as an infant leave you thinking they will all have an impact later on, and tbh the only "impactful" thing in the game is how much money you're making. Well, maybe that *is* realistic lol... Anyhow, I strongly believe this game's advertisement promises way more than the actual product gives. The idea is great, and I feel it does have potential, but it also felt like I was still playing the demo, and not the finished product. I just hope this gets updated or remade some way or another because while I didn't hate it, it left me wanting more.
I loved the game! The soundtrack was good and the endings were great! But I freaking got the Catastrophic Ending a couple times while trying to get the Ultimate Ending but whatever! It is great! P.S: Are you going to make more games like this?
you can die from being to picky in your romantic partners hear that picky people
this game was weird when i saw it, weird when i got it, and weird when i remember back to it. I feel like this game from a fever dream, and yes, this is that game markiplier played, as well as that meme or him singing abou this.
Fun if you plan on playing it multiple times, maybe try for all the achievements, but not worth the price if you're hoping each ending will be satisfying on it's own.
