I enjoyed this game quite a bit, it did great world building as a sequel from Imaginary Friend Asylum. I'd love to see more of it!
Great Game!

Highly recommend, great game! There are very beautiful costumes, and the map is large and fun to explore. The story is immersive, and there is a wide cast of interesting characters. There are some more in the series, but it stands alone and is easy to understand. Very good, basically.
This game gets 10/10 for me. The voice acting is so beautifully done, salient and poignant when needed, you feel immersed in the characters and really feel polarized by some (I strongly disliked one as my archetype as a person was more aligned with another, and that, to me, is the test of a well built character, when they are fleshed out in a way that makes for controversy). The story is so beautiful, it is just beginning to unfold, but you can feel the bittersweet pain of the protagonist throughout as she finds strength in her friends. The "bad guys" are all ranging from nonsensically bad, the "I just work here" archetypes to truly bone-chillingly villainous and that also adds to the experience. I know there were some bugs in early release, but truly, if you have the opportunity to play it now and enjoy the game, you should. NOT TO MENTION: I LOVE THE SEWING MINI GAME. OMG. Like, I may be the only one, but I coulda bopped and vibed on that for the whole game. I need to find the rest of those patterns. Truly, this game is a treasure. <3
Chapter One Review: I’ve been eagerly awaiting the third instalment of this series, and Chapter One has me hooked already. The story so far is well-paced, and the end of Chapter One had me on the edge of my seat and has left me excited for Chapter Two. I appreciate the attention to detail e.g. small touches like character reflections in mirrors and the variety of outfits available for Annabelle as well as ensuring the story captures the historic perspective and treatment towards patients in mental health institutions. The character designs as a whole are beautifully done, especially the Imaginary Friends. This attention to detail in its design and the clear research that has gone into creating this game creates both a beautifully sad and captivating story simultaneously. That said, there are a few technical issues that need addressing. The most noticeable is the grainy visual quality when Annabelle moves. It doesn’t make the game unplayable, but it does detract from the experience. In addition, I encountered some clothing clipping glitches with Annabelle’s outfits, as well as occasional moments where it's easy to get stuck on objects (particularly at the beginning of the game). There is also moments when the lighting could be improved upon as especially at the beginning of the game, it can be hard to see due to how dark it is. None of these issues ruin the game, but smoothing them out would go a long way in enhancing the visual quality and will be less distracting from the story line. I truly love this series, and I’m excited to see how the story develops. Once Chapter Two releases, I’ll be updating my review.
This game was so good! In the beginning I ended up slightly confused over the letter finding but throughout the rest of the game it was an amazing experience! 1000/10 Would recommend! <3
Amazing game with a lot of emotional moments! I played Imaginary Friend Asylum and couldn't wait for this one to come out. The VA's were really brought the game to a different level. It's clear they worked hard on this chapter, I can't wait for the next one to come out. Worth the wait!
Absolutely incredible, would recommend to anyone who hasn´t played yet, along with the previous games. This sequel was amazing, I was excited to play it after the first game came out, and I´m glad I finally got to do it, loved the storytelling, loved the character designs, loved the gameplay. 10/10, can´t wait for chapter 2!
love it and can not wait to the DLC <3
