Ice Age Scrat's Nutty Adventure

While searching for some good squirrel games, I've discovered Ice Age 2, and after that I've watched every movie and played most of the games of this franchise, that's how I ended up here writing review for the last current Ice Age game - Scrat's Nutty Adventure. Good nuts: - Scrat is still cute and lively, he jumps, he throws, he fights - Some nature sceneries are beautiful with a good distant view - Lots of secret statues and stone fragments to uncover - The whole game is dedicated to Scrat only, nobody else steals the spotlight - A few bosses are minor antagonists from the movies Not very good nuts: - No story and no characters other than Scrat and Scratazon's voice - Dull, boring, repetitive gameplay with no mini-games, all you do is jump and climb - Lots of boring caves, boring canyons, boring icebergs filled with the same boring enemies - No reason to actively fight enemies or collect boxes, as after 5000 crystals you'll unlock all bonuses - A dumb cliffhanger instead of an ending ([spoiler]you won't even get to see your acorn after the intro[/spoiler]) Overall, it's a short and disappointing platformer that looks and plays very weak after PC versions of Ice Age 2 & 3, which gave us lots of characters, different gameplay details and actually an adaptation of the movies, unlike this one. I'll leave a thumbs up, but only because I love Scrat, so having a second game about him is better than nothing. If you love Scrat too, you may find a reason to play this game, otherwise it would be a waste of time.
