Such a cute, short game that made me smile at the end
"i love me, i love me not" is a hand-drawn mental-health-focused game! In which you play as a sunflower who's been feeling physically and mentally drained, losing their petals - a part of themself - as a result. You'll wander, explore and meet new friends around this beautiful flower field, each teaching you a healthy habit, helping you grow yourself back together again! The Gamemechanics are very easy. I liked the Artstyle and the music of the game. The whole game took me around 0.9 hours to finish with all achievements. (you have to repeat it a few times) It is a Free-to-Play game which is very nice. The game is good, so try it out!

"i love me, i love me not" is a very badly made 2D retro pixel/MS-paint point and click adventure from someone completely unqualified to make video games or treat mental health problems, yet tries to do so anyway. One of those games that looks like it was slapped together with Adobe Flash, you point and click through a godawful story about sunflowers and learn that trite self-affirmation will cure all mental illness! Trying to address social issues through the medium of video games is misguided and can be harmful. While it's plausible to suggest the intention was noble, this can do more harm than good. Game developers are not professionals in areas of mental health and social problems, and when they use video games to pretend they are, this can cause far more harm than good. It's my opinion that it's improper to use video games to push political or social agendas. Apart from the harm such hamfisted attempts at addressing social problems can cause, this offers zero benefit to PC gamers. People suffering from health issues or other social problems should seek out professional help rather than going to crap shovelware video games attempting to get famous by exploiting such problems for their own benefit, as is the case here. As a game, which this barely qualifes as, it's an abject failure. The artwork here is terrible, it's a blend of old retro pixel "art" used as a substitute for contemporary PC graphics, and some of the most amateurish MS-Paint style drawings I've ever hurt my eyes on. It's unclear if this is due to lack of budget to arrange someone who can do graphics properly, or lack of talent, regardless, the overall visual quality of the game is extremely low as a result of these decisions. These technical defects push this game below acceptable standards for any modern PC game. Even though this is "free", it failed to appeal to the 120 million+ gamers on Steam. SteamDB showed the game peaked at only 3 concurrent players... this is a dismal public reception. This was so bad they couldn't even give it away. So, should you download this game? Is this one of the best of the 110,000+ products on Steam? "i love me, i love me not" has no upfront cost, but just because something doesn't have a price tag doesn't mean it's valuable. This isn't worth downloading. While this won't cost you any money, you get what you pay for, and sometimes, even when the game is free, it's still not enough. If you do suffer from depression or other mental health issues, there is help. Reach out to professionals. A list of professional helplines is here: https://www.helpguide.org/find-help
a very sweet wholesome experience. the minigames is what really makes it fun + cute.
cute game<3
I just finished playing this game like 10 minutes ago and oh my gosh.... I cried. I played this, knowing it was about mental health, but not expecting it to go as hard as it did. I've struggled with mental health my whole life, but recently have been going through an extremely difficult time. This game was absolutely perfect and gave me the pick-me-up for today that I need. All the coping mechanisms are absolutely wonderful, and absolutely do work. I've used them in the past and it was great seeing them referred to in this game. If anyone is struggling with how to cope with their mental health, this is a good place to start. Highly recommend and commend the dev for their work. I just wish it was longer!
