Pixel Puzzles Trivia just released into Early Access, and it's a bit rough around the edges. However, the devs have been very responsive to feedback, bug reports, and criticism... and the game is quickly polishing those rough spots. It's shaping up to have the potential to be one of the best trivia games on Steam. Pros: - Decent questions, with reasonable incorrect answers - Expanding variety and depth of questions - Expanding assortment of game modes to play - Lots of leaderboards The biggest negative, as should be no surprise from Pixel Puzzles, is the grind. This game, even after some early tweaks from the devs, is very grindy. And the longer you wait to start playing... the more grindy it will be, as new categories and game modes get added. If it was not for that concern at present, and into the future, I'd be thrilled for this game. I am also worried about the possibility of extensive paid DLC packs... but as of now, the game is completely free. If you're looking for a time sink trivia game, then this will be perfect for you.

"Pixel Puzzles Trivia" is an abandoned Early Access trivia game from the plagiarists at DL Softworks, most famous for stealing a whole bunch of stock images off the internet, putting them on a jigsaw puzzle game template, and trying to get YOUR money for someone else's stock photos. Pretty disgusting stuff, isn't it? Anyway it's unclear how much of this is asset flipped or where the questions are sourced from, although they are USA focused. Given the developers history of stealing stock photos and trying to scam gamers out of money for them, I'm extremely reserved about any other "content" the developer is claiming as their own. The developers abandoned this 9 months ago. It will never be completed. This unfinished game is just polluting Steam and making it harder for gamers to find genuinely, completely made games. The game features really lacklustre 2D visuals (does the developer not know 3D graphics became mainstream in the mid-1990s?). Gamers don't spend thousands of dollars on gaming rigs to pretend they're mobile phones or Commodore 64s. It's free for now, and while the developer claims no intent to charge for this if it ever leaves Early Access, I don't trust them based on their prior history. Even though this is "free", it failed to appeal to the 120 million+ gamers on Steam. SteamDB showed the game peaked at only 12 concurrent players... this is a dismal public reception. This was so bad they couldn't even give it away. Bearing in mind that free games don't add +1 to your game collector count, should you bother adding this to your library and downloading it? Nope. This isn't worth downloading. While this didn't cost me any money up front, I still feel ripped off. If you want quizzes, try some of the Jack Box party games... they're at least more ethical.
