The I commissioned some... series consists of relaxing hidden object games. There are some nice artworks, relaxing music and overall an easy-to-complete game which is always a +1 to the 100% completion rate. Normally, games have 15 levels and you can always restart from scratch if you want. I reviewed one or two then decided to add my 2 cents only in case the one I play has something novelty to offer. And here we are at this edition referred to as abstract bunnies. There are always two types of objects to look for and here this does not change: we have rabbits and carrots to find. However, given the abstract nature of the artwork they are much harder to find. In fact, in other games the hidden items were usually "on top" of the artwork itself. Now, they are part of it which means when clicking on the object it gets shattered into pieces. An interesting concept and towards the end it is somewhat challenging to find the remaining items given how much they blend in. The hinting system, as usual, shows directions only (in relation to your cursor's position). Many times I passed and didn't notice the hidden item just that the direction of the arrow suddenly changed. A surprising episode, this one is, with perhaps only one downside: the levels look pretty much the same given their abstract nature (with at least different colour applied). Still, I think this is a great addition and if you like challenges I recommend that you refrain from pressing H whilst playing.
If bunnies were in an art museum XD

Introduction
I commissioned some abstract bunnies is a hidden object game developed by Follow the fun and published by I commissioned some series. Basically, you have to find abstract bunnies and carrots that are hidden in 15 paintings. The gameplay controls are simple. You click on the objects with your left mouse button and zoom in and out of paintings by scrolling the mouse wheel. Pressing the H button on your keyboard will give you a directional arrow, hinting at where the object is if you have difficulties finding it. Only one difficulty setting is present, and you can adjust the music and sound effects volumes as well as the game's brightness. Steam achievements are present, but they won't count towards a user's global total until the game is out of "profile features limited".
Review
I've enjoyed all of the HOGs that I've played by I commissioned some series, and feeling in the mood for a shorter, enjoyable game (and also, seeing that it's a few days away from Easter XD), I wanted to try out I commissioned some abstract bunnies. At first, I was going to go for one of the other I commissioned some bunnies games in my backlog (which I'll eventually get to), but I wanted a bit of a challenge. ^^ The gameplay is as fun as always. As I just mentioned, this particular game is challenging, especially compared to the developer's usual games. The bunnies and carrots are more abstract, so it can be difficult to find them. However, it's quite doable since there are plenty of helpful functions, such as zooming in and the hint function, which is unlimited and doesn't need time to recharge. In a way, it could be considered a bit on the easy side, but I don't mind that. I needed a relaxing game. All the achievements are obtainable, with each one unlocking after you find all the bunnies and carrots in a painting. As for the art, it is gorgeous. Looking at these paintings, they brought back memories of when I used to visit modern art museums with my dad. Although I definitely don't claim to be an art expert (definitely got more of the writer's edge), I can appreciate the beauty of various paintings and other forms of art. Anyway, the paintings in this game are drawn well, giving off that modern feeling, and I like the use and combination of colors. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3695469424 https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3695469629 With the music, the tracks are soothing and relaxing to listen to, all instrumental in nature. There's a good variety, and they're the perfect accompaniment with the paintings are you're taking your time to look for all those bunnies and carrots.
Conclusion
Would I recommend I commissioned some abstract bunnies? If you're looking for a relaxing, cute-themed HOG with a bit of a twist, you especially enjoy the I commissioned some series, and/or you like getting Steam achievements, then this is definitely worth checking out. It can be a bit on the pricey side for the amount of gameplay that it takes, especially if you're very good at HOGs. However, these games come at very fair sales often, and this game is in a few bundles, so it's worth giving a try. Also, on a bit of a side note, I just want to say that I'm pretty sure I'll continue to be a fan of this series, especially since I adore the original art and the fun, relaxing gameplay. ^^
For more detailed, fully complete, high quality reviews like this, please follow The Introverted Gamer, prioritizing heart and soul always. ^^
⠄⠄⠄⠄⣠⣴⣿⣿⣿⣷⣦⡠⣴⣶⣶⣶⣦⡀⠄⠄⠄⠄⠄⠄⠄⠄⠄⠄⠄⠄ ⠄⠄⠄⣴⣿⣿⣫⣭⣭⣭⣭⣥⢹⣟⣛⣛⣛⣃⣀⠄⠄⠄⠄⠄⠄⠄⠄⠄⠄⠄ ⠄⣠⢸⣿⣿⣿⣿⢯⡓⢻⠿⠿⠷⡜⣯⠭⢽⠿⠯⠽⣀⠄⠄⠄⠄⠄⠄⠄⠄⠄ ⣼⣿⣾⣿⣿⣿⣥⣝⠂⠐⠈⢸⠿⢆⠱⠯⠄⠈⠸⣛⡒⠄⠄⠄⠄⠄⠄⠄⠄⠄ ⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣶⣶⣭⡭⢟⣲⣶⡿⠿⠿⠿⠿⠋⠄⠄⣴⠶⠶⠶⠶⠶⢶⡀ ⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⢟⣛⠿⢿⣷⣾⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣷⡄⠄⢰⠇⠄⠄⠄⠄⠄⠈⣧ ⣿⣿⣿⣿⣷⡹⣭⣛⠳⠶⠬⠭⢭⣝⣛⣛⣛⣫⣭⡥⠄⠸⡄⣶⣶⣾⣿⣿⢇⡟ ⠿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣿⣦⣭⣛⣛⡛⠳⠶⠶⠶⣶⣶⣶⠶⠄⠄⠄⠙⠮⣽⣛⣫⡵⠊⠁ ⣍⡲⠮⣍⣙⣛⣛⡻⠿⠿⠿⠿⠿⠿⠿⠖⠂⠄⠄⠄⠄⠄⠄⠄⠄⣸⠄⠄⠄⠄ ⣿⣿⣿⣶⣦⣬⣭⣭⣭⣝⣭⣭⣭⣴⣷⣦⡀⠄⠄⠄⠄⠄⠄⠠⠤⠿⠦⠤⠄⠄
Sinopsis

Banda sonora: Música variada, relajante o animada.

I bought all the "I commissioned some ...."-games. But this game is by far the best of them all !!!! Challenging and so much fun. The bunnies and carrots are well hidden (between all other coloured abstract shapes) and yet in full site. Amazingly well done. I highly recommend this game for all hidden object lovers, who likes a relaxing yet challenging game :)
I love most of the I Commissioned games but this one just falls flat. Every image just feels like the same thing over and over.
Ez a legjobb most mind közül, kedvencem lett, zseni!♥
PROS: + chill music + lots of pseudo-bunnies (& triangle-carrots) in 15 levels + great on the Steam Deck CONS: - no real picture after finishing the level - basically just one maze art style for all levels - profile visibility is restricted for this game Comment: The most difficult of the "I commissioned..." bunch, by far. It will really test your eyesight and color vision. Tiny carrots on background of the same color are mind bending. The whole thing is just looking at city maps (mazes) and clicking on what you hope is a bunny or carrot. Sometimes you have two almost similar blobs next to each other and one is a carrot while the other is not. Overall the atmosphere is relaxing, as these games tend to be. And again you'll be vibing to calming music, although no special track to mention here. So just the gameplay is what is tiresome. That and the fact you don't have any beautiful nor memorable artwork. It is fine to play on the Steam Deck though I advise to NOT use the touchscreen but instead go for the track pad and buttons. In fact I feel like it was much smoother than standard mouse and keyboard gameplay. The game is on slight discounts pretty often so get it there IF you want to get it. But while I understand this was a probe for more challenging gameplay in the series I did not like it. The pretty pictures are gone and that takes away a HUGE chunk of what makes these games good...
