After playing El Paso Elsewhere from the same devs I was curious about I Am Your Beast, because the one problem El Paso had was not having a super satisfying gameplay / gunplay which was held up by presentation and story being outstanding The world of "I am your beast" is pretty grounded in theory, with an agent trying to avoid getting back into working for the government on covert international missions. The light story and simple dialogue (extremely well written though) are just a wrapping for the real star: the gameplay. Gun feel is amazing, the nature of levels being both style and time ranked just ticks that right nerve and it feels to get into a loop of mastery which just keeps you coming back (and also there are very hard end game levels that will test your skills to the max) So if you like fast paced stylish FPS levels and like to speedrun, this game is just FUN as hell.
Хорошая игра, с хорошими сюжетом, музыкой, боевкой. Птичку жалко... Из минусов: Прохождение на 2 часа максимум. Если спидранить можно и за час.

Definitely one of the best games I have played this year
It's so satisfying, everything is satisfying, playing the game pump dopamine in my brain like crazy. Can't recommend it enough.
there isn't too much to say about this game that isn't immediately apparent or can't just be seen by a couple gameplay clips, or other reviews similar to games like superhot, neon white, or cruelty squad (also ultrakill to a certain extent) so if you liked those do try this one game is pretty much entirely focused on speedrunning levels by getting stylish kills and moving efficiently i would critique the story in this review but perhaps that's a bit too academic and political for a game where even i'm mostly only thinking about getting the best times possible and posting them to instagram or whatever runs great on linux
I've had this game for a less than a day and have already poured an afternoon into it. It feels great, runs smooth, and looks amazing
Very Neon White esque game, and NW is goated. Fast, responsive gameplay that has weight, while having a great, albeit short, story! (combined with very good voice acting) My only gripe is that the main game is a bit easy, however there is plenty of post-game content in the form of multiple other levels, along with bonus challenges and S-ranks, which I thoroughly enjoyed as some extra spice.
A well crafted story that leaves a big impact in a small amount of time, told through well crafted and challenging level design with just the right amount of sauce.
i can see why people like this game, it does a great job at fullfilling the power fantasy many look for. but after getting 20 levels into the game it became apperent that the skill floor is seriously at rock bottom, I only really enjoy the power fantasty when i actually earn it, not when im being pandered to.
