Hypnocult is Super Hexagon's ugly cousin. It looks positively hideous, and even seems to relish in displaying its diagonal lines in as aliased a form as possible. In terms of gameplay, it's a decent reaction- and scoring game. I found it too difficult on its default speed, but because the game has robust speed settings (basically, difficulty modes), I was able to play it instead of having to refund it. Take note, developers! The presentation is a mixed bag. In theory, I like the idea of a reaction game where you make the screen more cluttered as you play, so you have to decide whether to devote valuable time to decluttering it. In practice, I found some of the levels almost unreadable or unbeatable even at the default speed. I do like the plethora of levels and game modes - there are 6 levels with 3 game modes and 5 speed settings each. But where the faster speed settings felt pretty impossible to me, the slower ones had a problem of their own: The speed never increases, so if you can reliably reach e.g. 50 points in a level while keeping it decluttered, you could reach an arbitrarily high score, too. But that's not a particularly interesting gameplay experience, which is why I prefer it when such games gradually speed up, so you don't feel like you have to play forever to reach that arbitrary score. Ultimately, Hypnocult was a decent short experience. That said, in its genre, it doesn't come close to competing with Super Hexagon, and I don't see myself ever returning to it.

Buy this for your friends who love Super Hexagon. You'll have plenty of time to make better friends while the restraining orders are being filed.
You could call this "the next step after Super Hexagon", but that would imply their gameplay is similar. What I mean by that is, it takes the parts of the brain I used to play Super Hexagon well and demands I add to it in a new, completely different way. Lovely puzzler, and still a "puzzler" even when some actions started to become automatic. There's a lot of strategy involved in this game, whether it's board health or efficient routing or learning to route ahead of time. I thought it finally "clicked" for me in Dundee when I scored 70, and I believed that until I reached Berlin, to which I got my ass handed to me multiple times. 10/10.
Fast-paced puzzle game. Good at inducing tunnel vision. If you liked Super Hexagon, this has nearly identical energy but very much stands on its own. The inclusion of multiple speeds is a wonderful feature; makes the interesting, challenging levels much more accessible and less execution-heavy.

You would think that Increpare, one of the great puzzle developers of the highest quality in steam, along with some other select corporations, would bring another very difficult puzzle in hypnocult. This is a half-truth. An action game, which requires reflexes, perception and the development of manual skill, but which requires a prerogative at each stage: learning how it works, that is, you will need to learn to read, to decipher each level, how it evolves, and how you should interact with it over time. The result is fantastic and addictive. The game becomes quite difficult if you embrace the quest to beat the levels B and C of each architecture and at the highest speeds, but eventually this will be possible. Several times you will believe that one stage is impossible, until you notice your records increasing and realize that you are learning to deal with it. Berlin C is the most difficult, but don't give up!

A Super Hexagon-like arcade puzzler with a very chill mood. Twist the threads on the radial loom to catch the beams on a single edge, but the more twisted they get, the harder it will be to track where the beams are headed. As I played, it felt as if I was developing an instinct for where the beams were going to go... but as soon as I felt this, I completely faked myself out.
A minimalist and challenging rhythm game! Tip for overwhelmed players: try to start by setting the speed to "normal" ;)
definitely a fun game to play also ,this game has slow and slower mode if you having problem at the start try those mode !
