Lead one of five factions, each with unique ships and mechanics.

Multiple paths to victory. Will you dominate the galaxy through economy and trade, military might, or technological achievement? Or perhaps you will just try and outlast your enemies. You decide.
Random events can throw a wrench in your plans. Some will bring benefits, while others will pose mounting challenges to your people.
Trade routes can bring untold riches, but are constantly threatened by pirate raiders. How much are you willing to gamble on your trade fleet?
Recruit Heroes to further boost your empire.
Never the same game twice. With multiple factions, ways to win, random events, a variety of enemies and difficulty levels Hyper Empire is a unique play experience every time.

I had a flat out good time playing this game. I’m a bit of a novice at the game style, but I picked it up pretty quickly. The pace encouraged me to let go of over analyzing and just follow my space pirate’s gut. Looking forward to playing through with a bit more strategy, but honestly the game is forgiving enough if I just want to leap in.
Fun resource acquisition and building game
Hyper Empire is the first game I’ve ever played on Steam. Its been a while since I did any computer games, coming from the world of Age of Empires and Starcraft back when they were first released. But I got my start with Empire Deluxe, which Hyper Empire reminds me of greatly. It’s turn-based with these countdowns to battles that keep things tense in a good way. Where am I going to spend my hard earned resources to build stuff up, or get ships, or what all before the next battle and getting toasted? Even as someone brand new it was super easy to get into. I kept wanting to take “just one more turn” until I ultimatly didn't spend right and got my ass kicked. Definitely check it out if you like choose your own adventure books and strategy games or just want something addictive to play!
I enjoyed this one! I do recommend clicking the How to Play button, though, I tried jump right in and had no idea what I was doing. Once I figured it out I had fun.
Space 4X(ish) in a lunch break. Is good.
Not 4X, and desperately needs a proper tutorial.
Since the devs are actively improving the game and the foundation of the game is solid, i will recommend.
Good
An autobattler worse than the booby games lmao, My forces just went off screen and nothing happened for like 3 minutes
This game is somewhat interesting, but plays a bit more like a simple boardgame than anything else. Not for me
