💬 Supportive Caveat (Curator Copy) I received this game for free via Steam Curator Connect. I’ve played about 8 hours so far, completed the full currently available story arc, and earned most of the achievements. 🎮 Gameplay & Genre This is a sex-forward visual novel with a studio-management simulation layered on top, specifically adult studio management. You are booking shoots, choosing pairings, making videos to earn money, and trying to stay afloat while rivals and drama keep nudging things off balance. The studio management is more than a lightweight side activity. You end up genuinely caring about production value and trying to consistently land the highest-earning shoots, not just clicking through menus to unlock the next sex scene. Right now your main lever is upgrading gear, which does make a noticeable difference, but I would love to see future arcs add more ways to influence outcomes such as shoot planning choices, performer synergy, scheduling advantages, or risk-reward options that reward smart management rather than just better equipment. Even as it stands, it gives the game satisfying structure between story beats instead of feeling like filler. I did not sit down intending to play this all the way through. I planned to sample it, poke around, and come back later. Instead I got pulled forward hard, finished the currently available story arc, and then kept playing to clean up achievements and experiment with the studio systems. I am sitting at about eight hours now, which says more about the pacing and momentum than any feature list could. You can also clearly see the framework for a deeper management game. There are systems and more advanced items that are not available right now, which reads less like missing content and more like the developers laying groundwork for future arcs. For the DLC to really expand the management side, the game will likely benefit from a larger roster of performers and more complexity in the shoot mechanics. More actors would create more pairing/grouping possibilities, and additional depth during shoots could make the studio management even more rewarding. One practical note: the survival needs and penalties can be harsh if you ignore them. However, you can disable some of these mechanics in the settings, including the survival system, and it appears that doing so does not affect achievements. If you prefer to focus on story, studio management, and scenes without babysitting meters, that option is available. 🔥 M/M Content This is explicit, unapologetic gay adult fantasy with a strong emphasis on muscle and hunk appeal. There are frequent explicit M/M scenes throughout, including multi-partner encounters, and the game is not shy about what it is. Consent is clear and enthusiastic, and the tone stays sex positive rather than shamey. There is racial diversity across the cast, which I appreciated. There is not much body diversity, but given the studio framing it reads as a genre choice rather than a strange omission. The character design leans toward pornstar fantasy rather than extreme exaggeration. The men are consistently depicted as above average, but the game avoids the kind of wildly oversized, inhuman proportions that some adult titles use. One extra note that feels worth saying out loud: the MC is repeatedly billed as a “twink,” and the game treats it as an ongoing gag, but in practice he reads more like a twunk at minimum. If you enjoy the running joke of everyone insisting he is a twink while he very clearly is not, it lands. 🎨 Visuals & Style The visuals are fully 3D throughout, with character models that are noticeably more detailed than what many people expect from this type of game. If you need a rough point of reference, the presentation sits closer to the life-sim style than traditional 2D visual novel CGs, but with higher fidelity, stronger lighting, and more deliberate scene staging. The men are consistently hot, the posing and camera work are flattering, and the overall visual direction feels intentional rather than assembled piecemeal. Some players are sensitive to 3D character models in adult games and may find the look slightly doll-like depending on personal taste, but it never crossed into uncanny territory for me. Overall, the visual presentation is one of the game’s strongest elements and a clear step up in production quality for the developer. 🗣️ Tone & Writing Playful, confident, and surprisingly grounded for a game about building a gay adult empire. The story leans into adult industry drama and family baggage without losing the horny core people are here for. The characters have distinct energy, and the writing avoids the common adult VN problem where everyone sounds like the same voice with different hair. 👍 Best Thing The polish. It feels intentional and complete for the arc it tells, and it already sets up satisfying expansion through future DLC. 👎 Worst Thing The survival and penalty systems can feel disproportionately harsh if you are not actively managing them, especially later in the game. I did not even realize those systems could be disabled until after I had already collapsed once from not eating and then again when the hospital bill went completely feral. ⭐ Final Verdict I received this for free as a curator and still would have paid full price. It is a noticeable step up from Springs of Ardor in presentation, structure, and overall execution. If the DLC follows through on the management scaffolding already visible here, this could become one of the stronger sex forward M/M VN series on Steam. Is that it???!!! So disapointed! Didn't even get to upgrade the studio all the way or get the high quality food (if there is any) and the game suddenly ends. WTH! Don't waste your money on this BS. Requesting a refund.
The game it self is an interesting concept, and that's where it stops. It feels like the entire game is an AI generated concept presentation of a future game, not a game ready for the public. The story writing shows potential, but the endless reuse of lines and "animation" in every single adult scene just feels lazy and uninspired. The "AI Generated Content Disclosure" is wildly misleading; "Some in-game locations have contain prerendered AI artwork in parts of the background location." Every single aspect of the game looks to be AI generated, not just parts of the backgrounds. Refund Request.
The game does feel a bit empty. Most location dont have regular npc to meet or talk to. And even when you finaly meet npc, you only need a few discutions to be able to get them to come home and play with you. After that, dont bother talking to them, sames few lines before leaving you. Very repetitive since you only have access to three model for your shoot and need quite a few days to accumulate the money for the objectives. So most days you will wake up, go eat something, plan the shoot then maybe gym or back home to sleep. My biggest negative point is the lack of choices during the sex. I think the game could have offer a few lines of dialogue here or there during the act to change the sex each time. Who top, bottom, oral or not, maybe adding a third person, etc. And that<s not even counting the planning if the films. Maybe offer the choices to set differents acts or scenario, costumes, etc. Very backbone game, hope the developper add flesh to it in the next chapters. Still, I had a bit of fun, will replay to try and get what scenes and achievments I missed the first time.
While the content and graphics are very appealing to look at, the game has a lot of issues that need to be addressed. The writing could heavily be improved. There are countless typos and many of the conversations with the locals are the same, especially during moments of intimacy - very boring. Also there's an issue with continuity during game progression. Events and people show up with a new storyline and then the next day you meet them as your first interaction, even though you've already had an interaction. For the price of the game, I expect a lot more. Arcs 2 and 3 hopefully will not cost additional money and will come with better writing and continuity.
For me the poor resource management system killed this visual novel before it had the chance to get off the ground. I had to restart three times in five minutes in order to pass day 1 and I never even got to the studio management part. If you want people to stick with your game and make the effort to learn the game-system you've devised you have to offer them something more interesting than banal small talk and repetitive rants. The whole eat-sleep-earn thing is an instant turn off.
Extremely not worth the price
It's not good as i expected. Story just cuts in the half.
Premise This review reflects my personal experience with the game. Within the first few minutes, you are kicked out of your mother’s home and forced to relocate to your father’s, someone you don’t share a good relationship with. From there, you are left to deal with challenges that slowly push you to take control of your own situation. It is a coming-of-age story, built on determination and hope, even when things don’t go the way you expect. The dialogue is one of the strongest parts of the game. It feels natural, often funny, and in many cases relatable. Even when conversations are light, the game still raises questions that sit in the background without being forced. Representation — ★★★★★ Looking at the “spicier” side of things, the game offers curated imagery and multiple romance options. There is some flexibility in how you approach these relationships, although your choices don’t heavily change how others perceive you. What stood out to me is how the game handles the idea of working in adult content. You are running an adult entertainment studio, and the game actually takes the time to explore what that means. How does it affect your relationships? Can they survive it? What kind of pressure comes with that choice? These are not questions that get fully resolved, but they are present throughout the experience. It’s a modern topic, and I appreciated that it was included in a way that felt relevant without becoming overwhelming. Gameplay — ★★★★☆ The gameplay follows a point-and-click structure, but with an added layer of management. You have to keep track of your energy and stamina, and how you choose to spend your time matters. If you ignore those systems, there are consequences, especially financially. There is some repetition, particularly when you’re trying to balance everything, but I didn’t see that as a negative. It fits the type of game this is. You’re building something step by step, and that takes time. Art & Direction — ★★★★★ The visual side of the game is well handled. The CGs are of excellent quality. Character designs are clear and distinct, which helps when moving between different interactions and routes. The art feels consistent, and nothing pulls you out of the experience. Do I recommend it? — ★★★★★ Yes, absolutely. My only disappointment is that the game is still in development. For the price, it would have been great to have more content available. At the same time, I understand why. This is a niche space, and projects like this don’t get built overnight. What is already there is strong. The writing, the themes, and the overall direction show a lot of care. You will not regret supporting the creation of this game. A gay visual novel with some management elements and free exploration within a city. The story and character design are well-developed and feel very alive. I mean, you never get the sense that they’re just functional NPCs being there only for sex. The overall quality of the CG artwork is quite good, too. The main issues are that some CG scenes are too dark, making it hard to see the characters clearly, and the English text contains too many typos and missing words. At times, it even makes me wonder whether the author can distinguish between possessive ’s and plural s. Overall, I still really like this game and I can’t wait to play Arc 2.
