INSANELY AI generated and you can tell from the start. There's a scene like 30 minutes in where this big dude puts his hand into a child's underwear 😭😭Genuinely could not tell if it was ai tweaking out or just a terrible translation. If you like this dystopian concept and art style play Z.A.T.O; it is infinitely better. Do not buy this if you care even a little it's so bad and not even worth the 2 bucks 😭

A very short visual novel that stands out for it's relatively good writing. The English translation is solid and flows well. Art and music appears to be AI generated which will be a deal breaker for some, but the writing and art direction breathes a certain level of soul into the game that often feels missing in AI generated works. The game is also generally good at drawing your attention away from the artwork for most of the experience. I'm fond of the fact that, despite the subject medium, it never really falls into the trap of being a game about cute anime girls. Clearly the developer wanted to write about an idea first rather than writing characters first, which helps it avoid feeling shallow. Oh, and most importantly, it really is a game about figuring out how much the body in the freezer is worth.

I played two games by this company, only to realise they are both AI. The dialoge is written strange and there is like an em dash every three sentences.

using AI for a VN is the saddest thing I have seen. god I thought it would be a short 2 hour story made by an human with his own designs,music and story.

I don't personally mind AI for assistance in development, hell, I don't really mind it for music, but this is so blatant and tone-breaking. The dialogue is floaty and inconsistent, the GPT-prose is obvious to a fault. The inconsistencies really hurt In one scene, the characters are describing how everyone on the street is ugly and dressed poorly, then a well-dressed girl enters the store and the protagonist "doesn't question it because everyone dresses nice" Then in one scene, you are worried because corporate is going to re-stock your ice cream and that means they will see the body in the freezer, but it's okay because your friend has asked your manager if she can borrow the freezer and the manager said yes! Only, you are the manager and the situation makes no sense. Both scenes are riddled with GPT-prose (The situation is simultaneously absurd, yet makes perfect sense) If you don't recognise GPT-prose, maybe you'll enjoy it, but for me, it stunk. I tried to give the game an honest shake, really I did, but I can't hack it. The contents of the game are fine, I just think a full re-write would be needed to fix the prose. Also, the game doesn't show you the titular 'body' which feels like a slight betrayal.

短編ビジュアルノベル☆ 選択肢や分岐の無い、完全な読み物作品です。 話の内容と全体の雰囲気、ビジュアルがとてもマッチしていてgood。 結構ドキドキ出来て楽しめました。 安いので短編小説が好きな人や、ストッカーの中が気になる人にお勧めです☆彡
