Uh, I've had this on my wishlist for like, 2 years.... It's really bad. Like, unbelievably. Don't do it. It was a laugh for 30 seconds, then the reality of just how terrible this is sunk in. After 30 seconds. Boo. The game is bad and the devs should feel bad.
I thought this might be kind of relaxing, I like cheap crappy games but its just nothing lol The balloon just moves where you point your mouse (including vertically) and when you run out of fuel you get attacked by stock asset monsters that sink into the ground, also you can read a version of Tom Sawyer that just cuts off half way through if that's what you fancy.
The niche of "hot air balloon simulator" continues to go unfilled. The controls and handling are very different from a real balloon, and the jankiness of the whole program is very unpleasant. The monsters on the ground were a bit of a surprise. I can see the appeal of a game where you have to escape from some sort of zombie apocalypse in a balloon, but the execution just isn't there. I've had this on my wishlist for years in the hopes of playing some kind of lighter-then-air simulation, but this isn't it. And considering this is what they released after years, I have no hope that we'll see improvements.
Bought it. See 3D. Is it VR compatible?
has nothing to do with balloons, don't even try
Awesome premise, poorly executed. The controls and overall game play feels lazy at best. So much potential that I just wish the devs wanted to deliver on. Maybe they will fix it in the inevitable patch
