Local contractors get hired to takeover with hostile intent
I’ve enjoyed the game and the old/new demo builds as well, but there are still a few bugs that stop you from continuing along the path you selected. The only workaround is going back to the menu and loading in again, and sometimes it fixes itself when you choose the option a second time. I also suggested adding a PvP mode mainly for playing with friend(s) or random players, maybe 2–4 players where everyone gets a randomized deck and can pick up power-ups scattered around the map. What about a story mode? Perhaps a Mobile port as well for appstore? Lastly, what happened to the Engineer class? She was in some of the old demos, then removed for a rework. Are there plans for more classes in the future, and will they be unlocked in specific ways?
Challenging levels and fun deckbuilding techniques. I can't wait to play more.
А пока quality of life вгоняет меня в уныние.
Awesome little game. Exactly how the tactical combat should be done. All mechanics properly explained, all keywords explanations pop up when hovered over, threat distance and statuses displayed. Plain and simple: all info is available - it should be an obvious design, but in many other games it isnt. The combat is clever, with tactical choices, roguelike elements present. I just cant find anything to complain about. Except that the game should have more content, because the dev clearly knows how it should be done.
Lots of variety and tactics possible, can't wait till achievements are implemented.
A really interesting mix of roguelike and turn-based tactics. You play as mercenaries who attack different locations in a sci-fi/cyberpunk environment. Much like shadowrunners in Shadowrun. You move through the environments choosing your path. It's like choosing a road in Slay the Spire. During combat you play with two operatives whos abilities are presented as cards. Each turn you get 5 cards and zero (usually energy). By discarding cards you get energy. Using cards costs that energy. So you have to choose which cards to discard to get energy and which to use to win the fight. It's pretty simple yet exciting. The combat itself is nice, reminded me of a game called Halfway. If you like turn-based games I highly recommend this one, it truly tried something new and does this successfully! Here's hoping that devs will earn enough to expand the game and release more games in the future!
After playing this game for a good while, I think I have the gameplay loop down. The good: A nice take on the deckbuilding roguelike. The energy management system is unique to my deckbuilding experience as you need to sacrifice cards to use others. The pixel art looks great and the art on the cards is intuitive to understand. The sound effects are solid, and add an important addition to the overall sound design as the soundtrack can get a little repetitive. The true indie experience, as this dev has only released this game. The Room for improvement As mentioned above, the music can get a little repetitive after a while, but if you like listening to your own tunes while you game its no problem. One of those moments where its nice to be able to turn off the sound but keep the sound effects on. The UI makes sense and is easy to use, but has aspects that are clunky. The Overall If you are a deckbuilder lover, this game offers some unique mechanics that I think are worth trying. Its priced well so you are not breaking the bank for 6-10 hours of entertainment.
A fun game that's a nice blend of deckbuilding and tactics. It has interesting choices when building out your characters, and a good variety of unique enemies.
