Work your way through the busy city traffic, collect your board, and make your way to the chopper that will whisk you away to the snowy hill tops. Navigate your way down the slopes avoiding a number of hazards whilst trying to race through the colored gates. There is an arcade mode where you can compete on friends and global leaderboards and an endless mode that can be unlocked. [h1]🤔Overall Impressions🤔 [/h1] This game is so much fun, with a bold, bright and cute aesthetic, and a humorous outlook. The snowboard controls are tight with a satisfying feel and there are enough variables in the game to keep things fresh and interesting. As with all score chasers, things gradually get more difficult and Horatio gains more and more speed down the hill whilst trying to avoid more obstacles. It all adds up to a frantic and furious climax which leaves you wanting to try one more time. Some of the achievements seem very difficult to acquire because the elements needed do not appear in the game until much later. I have not even seen the police cars or snowmen yet. Once I had completed most of the achievements my enthusiasm did wane slightly but I enjoyed the ride. It’s a great timewaster and I'm certain Horis would approve. [h1] 🚁Get to the chopper 🚁[/h1] You start the day in the city, an amateur looking to get into the sport of snowboarding. You have three hundred dollars in your pocket and a chopper waiting for you. The first thing you are going to need is to buy a snowboard, but the shop is inconveniently placed in the middle of numerous busy roads, and none of the traffic seems to want to stop for you at the designated crossing points! The traffic gets busier with each day completed but the reward for crossing the road increases for each passing day. If you get hit by a vehicle you will be injured and have to pay the hospital one hundred dollars out of your kitty to get patched up and start the day again. Make your way across the roads, avoiding the traffic and purchase the board. Avoid even more traffic, and take the chopper to the mountains. [h1] ⛄There’s Snow business like snowboarding business⛄ [/h1] [quote]Be the chairman of the board by Riding your way down the slopes, gaining speed in a straight line; Moving from side to side is the only way of slowing down. Your aim is to reach the bottom of the course, but as this is a score chaser, there are numerous ways to gain extra points on your run.[/quote] 🚩[b] Flags [/b]🚩 Travel through the designated colored gates to start a bonus chain of points which increases by four points with each successful gate navigated. If you miss a gate, your accumulator will start from the beginning again. At the end of the course is a finishing gate which you will need to go through if you want your grandstanding points to register. You can still complete the day if you miss the gate but you will miss out on a lot of points. [b] Grandstanding [/b] This is basically being a cocky so and so and trying to show off on the course. Snowboard close to trees, break up wooden crates, knock over fellow boarders and smash into barrels. Some will send you to the hospital, whilst others will throw you of course or get in your way. 🌲[b] Trees[/b]🌲 Trees are everywhere in all shapes and sizes, ready to knock you off your board. You must avoid these at all costs but they are also a great way of racking up points if you can board close to them. ⛄[b] Bigfoot; Yeti; The Abominable Snowman; Trevor [/b]⛄ Call him what you want but he is there lurking in the trees ready to jump out on you and chase you down the track. He will make a beeline for you and you will need to swerve all over the place to avoid him. He also knocks over trees in his path which can roll in front of you. He’s a right ****. 🏂[b] Snowboarders [/b]🏂 The officials messed up and let some slow OAPs on the course. They smell funky and they get in your way. Like most old people they are annoying and off putting but you can board into them and send them careering into trees. You will be rewarded with points and the government thanks you for saving on state pensions. 🏔[b]Snow Mounds [/b]🏔 These appear later on in the game and if hit will send you off course uncontrollably. It almost always ends badly as by this stage you are boarding through a forest. 🤘[b] Rock [/b]🤘 Every mountain has rocks and if you hit any they will instantly send you to the hospital. [quote]When you finish a day you are rewarded prize money. When you crash you have to pay the hospital. The hospital bills cost much more than what you will earn in prize money. It normally equates to about three or four lives. The game is over when you run out of cash. You need to earn nine hundred and ninety-nine thousand points to be able to play. Endless mode is the same as arcade mode but you just keep going and register your highest score. There are no leaderboards but a few achievements to chase. [h1] 📺 Graphics 📺[/h1] Graphics are cute, bold and colorful. The main character is a dude and there is a fun feel about everything. [h1] 🎵 Sound 🎵 [/h1] There is a banging tune as you throttle down the slope. It enhances the exciting of the race and is very catchy. There is the occasional funny comment from a Welsh gentleman loosely based on Windsor Davis. It’s brilliant. Special effects noises all sound good. Horatio Goes Snowboarding – аркада, геймплей состоит из двух этапов: пройти через дорогу и кататься. Вам надо перебежать дорогу, спасаясь от быстро едущих машин, купить доску, потом снова через дорогу к вертолёту. Следующий этап вы едете на сноуборде по склону. Повторяете тоже самое на следующий день. В качестве жизней у вас деньги, после травмы 100 франков на лечение и 20 на новый сноуборд. Графика так себе, скорее всего текстуры из ассетов. Музыка ужасна, звуки так себе, управление не слишком отзывчивое, а спуск с горы не слишком удобен, может выскочить дерево в самый последний момент. Мусор с купленными отзывами.

Have near-misses with trees and totally [i]wreck the sh*t[/i] of other globular skiers for style points! Don't let that nasty yeti with the fruity little blonde puff send you tumbling!

Horatio Goes Snowboarding de bu oyun temel alınarak kurgulanmış güzel bir oyun. Tabii o günlerden bu günlere pek çok iyileştirme yapılmış oyuna. Ancak unutulmayan en önemli unsursa o kızgın canavar Yeti. Hala arada sırada bir ağacın arkasından çıkıp karakterimizi mideye indirmeye çalışmakta. Oyunun pek bir esprisi yok amacınız high score yapmak. Fakat bahsettiğim nostaljiyi hatırlayanlar için oldukça keyifli bir oyun diyebilirim. Şans vermeye değer.

Horatio Goes Snowboarding - well made, addictive and brutal. I got this on advice of my friend, and it's been difficult to stop. Currently sitting at 6 worldwide, I'm determined to get higher. Its simple mechanics and rapid restart leave you playing for ages. The fantastic soundtrack helps, I just wanna snowboard for hours. If you're looking for something to relax to, and end up constantly trying to better yourself, then it's your #1 choice. You won't be disappointed!!

Horatio Goes Snowboarding é um jogo bem simples tipo arcade (ficar tentando fazer mais pontos a cada tentativa), onde o objetivo é descer a montanha esquiando e desviando dos obstáculos... simples assim. O jogo tem 2 modos: modo história (que além de esquiar você deve atravessar algumas ruas e desviar dos carros para chegar ao helicóptero que o levará até a montanha) e o modo infinite (como o nome já diz, é só ficar descendo a montanha infinitamente)... em ambos os modos o objetivo principal é acumular pontos. É um jogo que apesar de parecer esses joguinhos feitos para celular (bem simples e fáceis de jogar) ele apresenta uma dificuldade considerável e por mais que ele seja meio repetitivo, você sempre quer ficar tentando fazer mais pontos. Nota 5.5/10. Recomendo!
