I love this. Clearly has a lot of effort put into it. I like shooting, I like sudden, creeping sense of despair as I run dry on all ammo, I like the bits of lore, I like the variety of equipment.. it's good, and for the price it's superb
Amazing game, utter vibes and made from one dev with a passion! If youre unsure, just bite the bullet, you wont regret it! Steamdeck: Works with no problem, use linux scout not proton
Super cute take on extraction / metroidvania gameplay. Absolutely a steal at this price.

Very good
Amazing game. Played tons during the demo. Great atmosphere, sounds, and gameplay mixing the metroidvania and extraction shooter genre.
Something about extraction shooters in apocalypse scenarios just works. It just works. -Hodd Toward
Insanely polished for being EA
Very well thought out extraction shooter/metroidvania/sidescroller hybrid so far
TL;DR - Game good, 0 bugs encountered, few lags here and there, very addicting, can be punishing but respects your time. The printer/recycler mechanic is basically what makes dying in this game much less punishing than in your usual extraction shooters. Yes, you lose all your stuff, but once you bring it back and scan it, you can (for a price) print everything for yourself. Interconnected maze-like map that has enviromental cues about where you are going, shortcuts, and unlockable points of entry. Some rooms can feel a bit too similar (especially corridors that go one way, and appartment complexes), however it does make sense world wise, so really I am just nit picking at this point. Animations feel really good, so does the dodge, and after a while the knife switching. The enemy behavior is interesting, as the different monsters have their own quirks that doesn't include only running at player. I have also seen 3 bosses so far, and each is drastically different (and pretty tough, 2 went down so far). The quantity of items is staggering for something that just launched into EA. The guns are mostly unique, and so is the way you get to know them. You literally have to either eyeball it from using the gun on enemies or shoot at ballistic gel in your hideout and see the aftermath. Sound design is also really good. Keeps you on your toes when something squirms/rattles in the distance, and the gun fire is punchy. My only complaint so far is that compared to the demo some rooms seem to lag a bit on my PC. However, the rooms this happens in are scarce and still perfectly playable at 60-80fps instead of my regular 100. I will update the review as I get further.
it got way too hard, and it is still pretty janky. its really frustrating to try and duck behind a barrel only to take a shot that breaks your leg and causes you to bleed to death. from full health. or to walk into an area you are used to having like one or two small enemies in and for some reason randomly this time it has 3 or 4 enemies including running zombies who kill you despite you unloading a full magazine of bullets into them. but it is fun and cool and in early access. im sure alot of that will be ironed out soon
I touched it for like 2 seconds and the inventory controls gave me cancer when trying to use it with a controller and when switched to keyboard quickly learned dodge just doesn't work unless you turn off the double click for it then had to switch back to controller cause couldn't give me the button you turn the power back on the thing you have to use to leave the tutorial.
