Simple shooter that delivers basic gameplay and nothing else. You play the role of a cat who is sent into enemy territory to rescue kittens. The controls are simple: you can just move around and point/shoot with the mouse. The first thing you will notice is that your pistol has really low accuracy. You may take several shots and miss them all by shooting too far to the left, right, or straight down. The machine gun you get for rescuing one kitten is not much better, although you can fire a lot more bullets by holding the fire button. The goal is to head out to marked locations and blow up tents that house kittens. Kittens will follow you around until you deliver them to the extraction point, however they cannot be killed, allowing you to easily save all of them before reaching the helicopter. However, kittens also block your bullets and make mission harder. To finish a mission, you have to reach your own extraction point and defeat boss units. Rescued kittens provide you with a few benefits. As was already pointed out, the first kitten gives you a machine gun. The next prize is a mine, and the last is a bazooka. Although you will face soldiers, turrets, and tanks, the game is not too difficult as long as you keep moving. You get to play several missions. However, the stages are quite bland and devoid of any interesting assets. The desert with its single color is especially terrible. They’re also pretty big and force you to walk for a while towards the objectives. Since there’s no big map, you can waste time by going to one objective and then learn there’s a wall around it that forces you to go back and look for an entrance. You can die after a single bullet, but you have an option to respawn on the spot if you have extra lives. These are acquired by bringing all kittens to the helicopter. The game saves at the beginning of each mission so you don’t have to replay the entire game from beginning. If you play all the mission, rewards carry over so you can start the next mission with a bazooka that doesn’t require any precision. On the other hand, it has very short range and firing too many rockets causes the game to drastically drop its framerates. There are a couple of annoying bugs that force you to restart the entire stage. The first prevents a kitten from appearing when you destroy a tent, while the second does not trigger the end of a stage. Achievements are fine, but some unlock too fast, like the one for rescuing all cats. Despite the simple art and gameplay, the game is still very decent for that hour or two.
