I actually feel mixed about this game, despite the "Not Recommended" flair¹.
First off, this game is the very definition of "Quantity over Quality". So, there are 3 Levels per each Idol Heads² that you need to cure. Great! Problem is:

Each of these levels feel... more of the same. Only difference being the boss (really no different from a regular zombie idol head) having a more bloated healthbar every time; while your damage being a constant. What would've been more interesting, is if your damage was based on the amount of mistypes you made, your typing accuracy and your typing speed. This way players would've been more incentivized to make less mistakes while also try to type faster.
Similarly, another way to differentiate each of these levels would've been to gradually increase the word length per level. So for Level 1, the idol zombies would make you type shorter words while Level 3 would have them type you entire phrases to cure them. Just repeating the same 5-10 quotes feels lazy when there's a mountain of content made by the Holomems to warrant an easy 30-50 quotes at best.

Speaking of quotes - if you're only going to include Japanese quotes spoken by the Holomems (even from HoloEN), might as well just not localize it to English and stay a Japanese Language-only game. Yeah I encountered a few English quotes, but they were sparse compared to Japanese quotes.

I did see a link in the main menu where the dev is asking players to provide them quotes. I don't get it. If you didn't understand English (assuming you don't anyway) to include English quotes in game, what makes you think you'll be able to include them after fans submit it?

Also, while we're at it, can we talk about the romanization this game follows for a second?

Why is こんにちは typed "Ko nn ni chi ha"? Why the second "n" in "nn"??? Is it only because you need to type "n" twice in the Japanese Keyboard for the computer to print "ん" and not just "n"? Because this is pretty much what's keeping me from getting 0 mistypes. The extra "n" keeps ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ me up.
Why is にぇ "Ni xe"? It's pronounced Nye, so shouldn't this just be "Ni e"? Or is this another Japanese Keyboard quirk?
Oh, also, the game doesn't actually stay paused when you activate Steam Overlay (Shift+TAB). The game keeps going on in the background. So, that's another thing to look out for, if the dev cares I guess. Lastly, I don't understand how the grading system works in this game. Sometimes the game will give you a D for having 3 mistypes (even if the amount of words you typed correctly is higher); but other times you'll still get a higher grade despite having the same number of mistypes. It feels arbitrary.³

¹ Steam only allows you to mark reviews as either recommended or not recommended - no in between. I was originally going to still give this a "Recommended", but then the review wouldn't catch anyone's eye. Since people would probably assume that I'm just singing praises of the game like anyone else. When it's the video game equivalent of eating junk food. Like yeah, it tastes good... but it doesn't have much substance either. Just empty calories. That being said, I might not refund it (which is rare when I give not recommended to a game) since I don't see that many good typing games being released (too busy making yet another metroidvania, roguelike, deckbuilder, soulslike to bother I guess), so this will have to do to satisfy my typing fix - even if it's... a bit mediocre. ² "Treasures" as the game calls it, for some reason. ³ Well, not that it matters in the end I guess, since the game doesn't even seem to keep the data re: the last grade, score, KPS, accuracy, etc. you got on that level. Okay, maybe the score, but... just the score? Really, devs? ¬_¬

I thought my typing skills not that bad, until I played this game and realized they’re actually pretty bad, especially when typing in romaji
Getsuyoubi,Getsuyoubi, rururu, rururu,Getsuyoubi~ The game is a lot of fun and it really tests your skills, out of the BeXide holo Indie trilogy I don't know if this or Treasure Mountain is my favorite but it's very close, also the fact that not only it includes links to the stream of origin for every holomem quote, but also the exact time stamp where it was said is such a nice detail,it really feels like the game is a love letter to hololive as a whole.
