Absolutely bad ass concept! You use the webcam of yours like a VR and you are able to operate the car with your own two hands and arms...it's great! A good 2 bucks spent, for sure! Youtube Game play: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=459sYOBWLWc&feature=youtu.be
It's amazing to think that all that extra technology that was in the Microsoft Kinect can now be done by a web cam. This game reminds of when I first got the Kinect and wanted to really be in control of a car. Also the music is pretty insane!
HoloSprint is an experimental Webcam driven racing game where you control the car by putting your hands in front of your webcam while the developers presumably record you. Like, who knows. If you don't have good reason to trust a game developer, then don't, that's common sense. It "works" but not particularly well. Aside from the novel UI, this game has incredibly little going for it, in terms of value prospects for gamers. While the graphics are passable, the rest of the implementation is lacking basic features. While you can set the game resolution and even customise the game controls, there's no other interface tweaks at all, so there's no way to improve the lacklustre visuals beyond the default Unity launcher (and seeing this on launching a Unity game cries "Lazy developer here!"). And it's unclear what those settings do, if anything, so that's a fail. Bewilderingly, the game doesn't include proper audio controls, so you can't turn off or moderate the game sounds, you'll need to alt+tab out and fix this using the Windows sound mixer. This is obviously not okay and it's unclear why the developers chose not to include this basic feature. HoloSprint is relatively cheap at $2 USD, but it's not worth it, it's basically just a tech demo without any serious intention to be a game for gamers.

This is really cool tech. I was pleasantly surprised by how accurate the steering control mechanism is and the graphics are pretty nice too.
